Hey all, I’m new here, just was curious if anyone has encountered this before. Here goes. My buddy drives a 2006 CVPI. At highway speed, the maintenance wrench light will illuminate and engine speed becomes limited to 2500 rpm or less. Once the vehicle has been turned off and restarted, the light is gone and it’s out of limp mode. It has had a brand new throttle body installed to no avail. I can read signal from throttle position sensor and accelerator position sensor on my scan tool. Signal is consistent and within spec. I don’t think it has a mechanical issue. I’ve read that perhaps the PCM needs to be reprogrammed. Does anyone have any experience with something like this? Thanks.
