I saw an LED fog light assembly upgrade on the Ford Accessories website for a few hundred dollars. Don't care that headlights are halogen but think fog light upgrade would be good. Any thoughts from more experienced big truck owners? Will it make that big of a difference? Is it easy to install or take to mechanic? It is the entire fog light assembly with a cord hanging from it. DrEvil Posted March 30, 2022 Share Posted March 30, 2022 Layman opinion here, I’m sure someone smarter will answer factually soon… I would think they would mount up and be plug and play. Couldn’t see ford using different harnesses. I do believe there was a setting in forscan for led vs halogen, but that may be more applicable to turn signal function. I would look on eBay, as you may be able to find a cheap set of take offs. if my truck ever shows up, I’m taking my led fog lamps off right away and installing my aftermarket bumper.
