frankie100
I have not had any contact with our district rep. So, I can not really answer your questions. I have had contact with our International Rep. He was very arrogant and not very helpful in giving a direct answer to simple questions. Maybe he was intimidated by 120 members asking about their new C.O.A. I believe we are all screwed with the leadership we have. Nepotism and cronyism have finally taken their toll. The Old Guard have retired and this is what we are left with. Instead of the International making a blanket C.O.A. they allow whipsawing. What kind of solidarity is that? (One plant has to undercut their brothers in another plant?)......

ivaguelyremember
I have a District Rep.? Wouldn't know the guy if he slapped me in the face. So, I guess that means he's either doing a really good job, or a really shitty one.
sparks will fly
What is up with the word whipsawing I never heard it till I got here.... Whipsaw: to beset or victimize in two opposite ways at once, by a two-phase operation, or by the collusive action of two opponents <wage earners were whipsawed by inflation and high taxes

aai from stl
my rep cant even get info from our chairman. he has to call the local he was at before to get info. hell he was running against potestato in a plant election and was suddenly sent to time study training he already had so he wouldnt be in the plant to campaign. needless to say he lost. probably would be a good rep with a better chair. very strong union man.
