mrsully Posted July 8, 2023 Share Posted July 8, 2023 Has anyone tried hooking up a camper or other trailer with camera and trailer TPMS to their 2023? In 2022 the required kit was LC3Z-1A189-A or -D (with or without Back up assist), but it doesn’t show compatibility for 2023 even though the individual kits for Camera and TPMS (-C and -B respectively with Backup Assist) are the same for 2022 and 2023. Out of curiosity I tried to add trailer camera and TPMS to a build on Ford.com and it wouldn’t let me add both. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
jhaber Posted July 13, 2023 Share Posted July 13, 2023 Ill let you know this weekend. I have my old kit I ordered with my 22' that I never installed. I just installed it on the camper but had to order new valve stems to fit my rims. They come in today... IT BETTER WORK after all the work I did running the cables. I havent installed the camera yet. The parts guy at my dealer checked into it a couple of days ago and he says there is an email from Ford now saying the -A kit is also applicable to the 2023 trucks. jhaber Posted July 15, 2023 Share Posted July 15, 2023 (edited) Man.. I just noticed my DEF level. One thing I notice now is that this 23' burns way more DEF than any of my previous trucks. Ive had them all 20' 21' 22'. I only have 1800 miles on this truck and Ive now been through 5 gallons of DEF. (Ive only pull my 5th wheel on 1 trip 200 miles up and 200 back.)
