Tariq Hassan Posted January 7, 2007 Share Posted January 7, 2007 I'm pretty sure that many of our UAW brothers and sisters will loose their homes after their plants shut down but I was recently looking at granma international and wondered if it is really true that people in Cuba are not evicted from their homes due to job loss and inability to get a job with similar pay? Us white southerner's are just plain awful to live with. There's really no point it staying. You really are gonna love Cuba. It's a dream come true. Great weather, food, and economy. I'm not kidding, its wonderful. I called a few relatives and were up to $213.00. It wont be long! We will surely be hard pressed to find a replacement but I'm sure we will muster the strength to go on without you. The people in Cuba will surely welcome you and all your bright ideas. And you can tell them all how bad we are so they don't need to come here either. They can stay right there in paradise with you, all your wonderful insight's, and.....well......I guess that's about all. With all the intelligent conversations I'm sure you carry it wont be long until they elect you the leader and you can bring Cuba back to it's glory days and we will come there again to vacation like they did in the fifty's. You can revive the sugar farms, vacation resorts, and the night clubs. Man you will be living the good life for sure! Just don't EVER forget how bad it is here so there's never a reason to return. They all tell me that they love it. I guess it is the first time that they have ever been around people whom they consider to be inferior to themselves. It is cool. They have doctors begging for $20.00 under the table after they treat you. You can get a beautiful hooker for the week for a couple hundred bucks. They will literally crawl for you if you throw a few coins. I get no pleasure out of seeing others' misfortune. The United States allows them to exist for people to see what could happen if socialism/liberalism is allowed to go too far. It is just like all union leaders, socialists, and communists. They can't just let the chips fall where they may. They have to get involved, and mess everything up. Sometimes they get what they deserve, like Saddam, and end up at the end of a rope.
