  1. If you ordered the 202B then yes, you will have the rear view camera. If you do not have Nav, then the mirror will show the camera.
  2. That was in my case as well. What part of the country are you in? I was told that the zone manager was advised that allocation was being given to northern states. My dealer also sells tons of Super Dutys, SUVs and Half ton trucks, but not many cars. They have 2 2010s and a 2009 sitting there.
  3. 1983 Mercedes 300D Turbo was pretty slow, the vulcan 94 Sable that I had was probably the most gutless.
  4. Have you asked the dealer for a build date?
  5. Welcome aboard. Looks like they are indeed offering a 2010 TC. I was in one on the way to the airport the other day. Try finding other dealers. I'm sure they are being pushed by Ford to sell the MKS, but some people love the TC. Local dealer in Houston had 2 MKS's and 30 towncars when I went over there. Go figure. http://www.lincoln.com/towncar/home.asp This statement is confusing, since you're shopping a 2 valve 4.6L with less horsepower and torque than what the Marauder had. I've owned 3 Marauders, all of them were a blast to drive, just need the right SCT tune to fix the 4R70Ws lazy nature and the driveability instantly becomes better. Yes, there are lots of cars out there with more HP etc. But for what it is/was, the Marauder is a nice vehicle.
  6. Very weird. My car is slated to be built next week. No online sticker either.
  7. Window stickers dont show up until 2-3 weeks before the car is scheduled to be built. Have you asked them for a build date yet?
  8. Yup. I ordered mine on Nov 17th and got a vin on Dec 23rd. Build date the week of Jan 25. WIll get her here around Valentines day!
  9. WOW! Lucky you! Funny your vin never showed up on the sticker application. I'm still waiting patiently.
  10. Any more feedback? I dont see your sticker online.
  11. Dealer should have given you one. Incidentally your vin is about 1600 units more than mine, and you ordered Almost 45 days after I ordered mine. Theres another fellow here that ordered a Taurus the week before I did and his vin is almost 3000 units lower than mine.
  12. From what I heard, Fords zone reps were told that Allocation for the 2010 Taurus priority was being given to states north of the Mason Dixon line. Which makes no sense to me since the south has a better economy these days (at least in Texas), and I cant even get a Taurus I want, they're all hard loaded SHOs.
  13. Here in Texas, trucks and SUVs are the kings of the Ford dealers. Dealer I go with has 100 super duties, tons of F150s and Expeditions, and a dozen Fusions and Foci, and 6 Taurii. 2 Were SHOs, loaded to the hilt, one was a SEL, one was a limited, and 2 2009s sitting around. They couldn't sell the loaded SHOs for the longest time, and I had to order the one I wanted (Stripper), and now I see they have one 2010 Taurus on the lot. Go figure.
  14. The 2010 Taurus is about 6" Shorter than the Crown Vic, has a 2" Shorter wheelbase, and more rear leg room and almost as large of a trunk as the Crown Vic.
  15. See the other Flex thread, the replaced the PTU on a bunch of AWD flexes and there was a shipping hold. Call your dealer for a status update. It should be en route by now.
  16. I found out that only AWD Flex and MKT had this stop ship. Back in late November it was discovered a part was failing under hard acceleration with turning. Seems this issue has been fixed and those vehicles were repaired.....
  17. Ford had the GTS Designation in 1995, aka 248A which was the stripper V8 mustang, A/C, Radio, no fog lights, no spoilers. They offered 2 option packages, one that had power windows, mirrors and locks, and the other with more gizmos and gadgets (cruise, illuminated vanity mirrors etc). In 96 with the death of the 5.0, it was simply called 248A, and was sold till 1998.
  18. The biggest complaint I read about is Fords lack of selection on the Five Hundred, Taurus, Fusion, Edge, TaurusX, Freestyle, 6 speed Escape and others, was the inability to select gears other than having PRNDL and a Hill Descent mode. This was fords answer (which I think fits the bill) unless you have one with the lever you can move to the side for manual mode.
