So UAW dues are paying for there extra pension. This is very interesting. It is obvious that the UAW is deceiving the members when they say they are representing the rank and file members. Actually the UAW (so called) leadership are really representing themselves, because the rank and file members are paying union dues to fund their extra pension benefit each month. If I have 8 years that means I have and until I retire I will always pay for there additional retirement benefits. But I will never receive this benefit. I work in the plant on the line, retire and get a pension from Ford (nothing from the UAW). UAW representatives are constantly traveling around the country at the expense of the members, then they retire and then get a retirement pension from Ford AND from UAW members. So we will be paying Gettelfinger a second a retirement pension benefit each month? This is ridiculous. Didn't the UAW sell out retirees this week? [/b]

What additional wage and benefits package do the UAW leaders get? AND why?

Since a rated job is a promotion and if a job is rated isn't the job supposed to be posted for all to have an opportunity to apply?

That will never happen even though Ford could save a lot of money. These appointed reps are called "sell outs" - this is the reason they are so useless and Ford controls them.

There are utilities that have restrictions for certain jobs in there areas. How do they hold utility if they cannot cover all jobs?

No one, union members or management took "Made in Japan" products serious years ago. Americans used to laugh and make fund of there quality. And they did build junk. But no one is laughing at Japan products anymore. They were persistant and have taken over the auto industry. Just give China time and it will be the same thing. Auto workers need to quit complaining, quit making excuses, go to work, build quality vehicles, quarantee the quality, AND build gas efficient vehicles.

The UAW needs the slackers to justify themselves. Otherwise no need for a union. If you show up and do your job you should not have any problems. If you do file with the EEO.

Who do you know in the union hall that can hook you up? That might help. Many of the union hall high school buddys and family members have not spent much time working the night shift. Look at what section the union friends work.

Saying the UAW membership is the highest authority is just propaganda. What a joke and some actually believe this highest authority crap that Ron Gettelfinger pushes.

Norfolk Local 919 UAW Chairman said it is inevitability it will pass. So even if you vote NO the UAW will say you voted Yes.

Amen - True it will NOT matter who votes or which way you vote. The UAW will tell you what they want you to hear. The UAW leadership has NO ETHICS!
