  1. fmccap, you're trying to have a rational conversation with a guy(fordworker) that has never backed up anything that he says. He' has never posted a link to say where he gets his info. What he fails to realize is that what is going on today started with Reagan but Clinton is the one that killed so many jobs with the signing of NAFTA that Reagan started. Also with the deregulation signings of the past between both party's and bad trade deals. If he thinks all this came about within the last 8 years under Bush, then than makes him a complete idiot when it all started with Clinton but Bush made it worse by not responding.
  2. Yes I did, the guy is a tool and from what it sounds like, he works like one
  3. are you sure, if it's chucky, he's back as chuckdaddy
  4. Actually, I wasn't naming him, it was just a statement that came to me but yes he does and I would never ask him to take a pay cut but yet we should according to "market demand" as he would say.
  5. Critic, If people make more than the other person, I say more power to ya but don't come after the auto worker because they make a livable wage but in the eyes of some people it's just too much. That's tunnel vision. The simple fact is, people go to work to trade their time for money and that's it but most on here for some reason think the auto worker doesn't have a degree in anything but a high school diploma. Well guess what, most of us do have a degree in something but chose this job. Go ahead and get people to do the work cheaply and then at the same time, watch the turnover rate sky rocket, the quality go down and all the hard work that was achieved to reach this point go down the toilet. Maybe my next job can be a weather man, all I'll do and look outside and tell ya if it's gonna rain or be sunny :shades:
  6. you say it's fact but yet never back them up, where's links in which you never provide, it's just your opinion
  7. I think your being level headed here but you need to get off the myth of 75 dollars an hour, If I was making 75 an hour then I would be one happy camper in which I do not. It is an over inflated number and I make way less than $40 an hour and that's including insurance in which I pay doctors visits so we all don't get 100% paid doctors bills. And by the way Mulally even said himself that Ford is in line with the transplants. Why are auto workers getting singled out all the time?? People choose their path on how they will make a living but yet the auto worker is chastised for making a decent living. I'll never criticize a persons living wage but yet my way of life has to be microscoped. There's more to it than just labor. Point your finger towards the gov't for all the policy's made in the last 20 yrs that has destroyed the manufacturing base and it's just not the auto industry. Look at the textiles industry. What happened to that???
  8. What's needed is to assemble on the lawn of the White House and a huge crowd at that.
  9. Why even respond to these people that can't see the big picture, having the middleclass keep taking pay cuts and take them out of their means of living. I mean come on, we live within the means of 40 hours and now they want to take us out of that mean, why??? Because it hasn't affected them yet but when it does, they'll be crying next. So you people that keep saying it's better to take a pay cut than losing your job have tunnel vision cause if the company isn't selling cars then it doesn't matter. When it happens to them, they'll be the next ones moaning and crying when it trickles down to them. Can't wait for the next one that says it's "market demand" watch out, what goes, around comes around.
  10. You must base your finding from the media which is an ignorant statement, what a tool
  11. Man, That "pull me over red mustang" stands out nicely. I can hear me saying now to the cops " whats seems to be the problem officer??" :D
  12. You've changed your tune too many times, you were against the modification until you read the product promises to plants which are not guaranteed. Giving up $5,000 to $7,000 a year doesn't mean shit when sales aren't there. Next you'll be lobbying to accept the next modification when it comes to pay cuts and health care cuts cause that's what GM wants. So tell me, would you be against that or for it????
  13. And what kinda quote is that?? I go down there all the time and never have a problem.
  14. Why even give this guy a response, he's nothin but a shit starter just to get a rise out of people. He's as narrow minded as the Detroit City council
  15. You need to understand that when all the modification talks began he was against it and then he changes his tune and now thinks that what ever GM gets in modifications including paycuts, we should agree to it as well. That's why I think he needs to shut his pie hole.
  16. do you mean this :hysterical: :hysterical: :hysterical: :hysterical: :hysterical: :hysterical: :hysterical:
  17. Damn!!!!!!!! If that's luxurious then I would hate to see what cheap looks like from Fiat :slap:
  18. there will be but I'm thinking the 4 cyl ecoboost
  19. You need to to shut the fuck up ya fear mongering asshole
