Hogman I know you really really want to get out,but in my opinion I don't think this package(SER) is what you would be satisfied with.I know it suck you can't get the money to retire but I say jusy stay working and hang in there and retire when your time comes. If I was in your shoes I would be fustrated to,but you have worked to hard and too long to just settle for something that will not feel like what you deserve for your hard work. This is just me looking in from the outside,please don't be offended.

Neither one of the instances I stated above were skilled trades. The guy from Denver who had RTBU rights was a former wixom employee who never signed his rights away.There were alot of people in GEN at other facilities including the facility I had just transfered from and Flowback list's that was not completed.He exercised his return rights to go back to zone 1 and was moved from here Denver HVC to DTP (zone 1). The second instance I mentioned was a fella who came to AAP from Wixom worked 3 years never gave up his RTBU and when people from Wixom were going to AAI he excersized his return right and was at AAI the next week. This can happen,like I said there is alot involved and it all depends on the willingness of the local Commitee's to push it. Maybe things have changes after this last negotiation and I don't know what I am talking about but I know these two instances to be true. Also may I ad if he/she signed the enhanced moving inncentive or traditional moving incentive all rights were forfitted and they are shit out of luck moving anyhwhere.

Thats not true at all.We had a RTBU from here in Denver to Zone 1 (DTP) last September.We had no layoff's no GEN.You have to have good Rep's that are willing to make calls and get it done.If there are opening's where ever that person came from right now and he has his rights that is his RIGHT to return that's why they are called return RIGHTS!i also Know of another case at Atlanta where a guy came from Wixom worked 3 years and there was movement in his home Zone he said he wanted to return and poof he was there 2 weeks later now working at AAI.

I am not going to speculate on a number but I have talked to a good bit of people who are really considering it this time that last time it didn't even cross their mind.

I wish you guys all the best. It is going to be so weird the next time I am in Monroe and the plant is closed and no one is there.Everytime I go back to Monroe it is always different than the last time I was there,but this time is going to be just plain creepy knowing the plant is closed. Alot of my family has worked in that plant and thats where I got my start with Ford so it's just sad.I got a buddy out here who worked there and now who works at Coors and his Grandfather retired from there like my grandparents and his mother just retired a few years back and his brother is still there right now and when we get together on Sundays we always go back to talking about the crazy ass people we worked with there and the wild shit that went down at "lunchtime". Just sad.
