Ford quit offering the short bed, extended cab confiuguration in 2010'. Too bad I have one and it's a great truck. Very nimble and yet still a hauling gem.

Ford's "you build it" website shows the availability of factory 20"'s on an 09' F-150 Scab SHORT BOX configuration. When in fact, one can NOT order this package. If Double D still roams here could he ask one of Ford's engineers WHY this option is not available? GM offers it on the Silverado/Sierra line. So safety isn't an issue. Thanks.

Still NO 20" tire option on the extended cab short box configuration. WHY, I do not know. GM offers it but Ford does NOT.

Ford's Job #1 for the 2010 Mustang which was originally 02/02/2009 is now 02/26/2009. The vehicle is now set to be officially available for purchase/delivery as of 03/10/2009. If true WHEN will the ordering guide depicting ALL options be available?

I don't see buy just a few sales either off the lots or ordered for the new 09' W/O MAJOR cash incentives. Like in the $5K arena. Best Buy said today they're NEVER experienced such a cautious consumer buying mind set. WORST they've experienced. Ford must either cut back on the production of the 09' F-150 or offer impressive rebates. Those hefty incentives on the 08's will also haunt Ford because they "stole" sales from the 09's. Not a very happy auto world today for sure.

I initially decided to go through my local Ford dealer UNTIL they REFUSED to show me the names of the nearby dealers whom HAVE the truck in question. 3 within 300 miles. I understand their dilemma. Show me the dealers name and lose a truck sale or try to pursuade me into an F-150 that they could obtain/trade for. I'll travel anywhere in the US for the truck in question. PERIOD. Are you planning on buying from your local dealer and having them ship it up to you, or are you contacting Freeway Ford? Now when buying my '06 (12/06), I did have Freeway Ford (where the black one above is located) and O'Meara (where I bought my '06) working against one another for my business. They both came down considerably from the Internet price. Both are reputable dealers and will treat you well. They are considered the best local dealers in my opinion. Then again Stevinson Ford was good until they closed up shop. Only item I think would make that black one look better, is if it had the black headlamps like the Silver Screw rather than the chrome headlamps. Otherwise the black one looks sweet! BOTH. I'm currently looking for an FX4 extended cab 4X4 and 20's. Have found two. One in MI and one in Hawaii (which is a long swim to say the least). But I did see here one poster's pic his black FX4 Scab with 20's. Looked GREAT.

Someone posted a pic of their black SC F-150 Flareside way back when. I can't locate it here. Any help and/or a new pic of their SC Flareside would be most appreciated. I tried to locate/purchase the above mentioned 08' model with 20'"s but the dealer I went to said NONE existed on any Ford lots?????
