  1. Already gone one. Darth Maul put in a good word for me with the Jedi Counsel. So it looks like your gonna be my personal light saber polisher.
  2. Yeah,it was in the local newspaper that NAP workers were morons,so thats why they are closing NAP. Seriously man,why do you come on these boards if you hate Ford so much ? You dont have a girlfriend ? Banned from the Star Wars convention for putting glory holes in the Millennium Falcon's bathroom ?
  3. Normally I wouldnt say anything, but Im far from a sorry ass. In 10 years,I have never had one single AWOL. Not one ! Also,I have NEVER been out on medical . I have NEVER gone home through medical. I have been late TWICE and both times half the plant was late do to severe weather and flooding. No access to the plant. With that being said,I dont care what the outside world thinks. Cuz no matter how well I do my job,or no matter how much of a model employee we may be,we still get lumped together with everyone else. The people that try and keep money from the UAW are a small fraction and hardly significant . And if they have a personal problem with us ,without ever meeting us,then they are either a bitter Scab, or a burnt former UAW member or likewise. So fuck em all. I dont care what the "populcae" think as you put it Mr. Harvard. The majority is on Fords shoulders to design some competitive vehicles. Period. :bandance:
  4. Now your a good sport. p.s.-Nice to see you and Scab making a BON connection.
  5. Well back to the original topic. Doesnt a one strike policy seem excessive ?
  6. Nice verbal attack. Weak though. Scab Picker, you cant argue with a grown man who proudly displays the philosophy of Star Wars characters. Hes on another planet literally. p.s.-Thats not an attack, cuz you really do display them, lol.
  7. I understand what your sayin man. The difference between you and the people Im referring to is that you are not shouting about freedom over something as trivial as your right to drive what you want to ,and claiming that is why the constitution was written and why its defended. Yes,I know its about a broader ideal and all that. My point was that the people who are not old enough to remember what fighting and sacrifice are REALLY about, have no business spouting off at the mouth about random topics and trying to hide under the freedom card. Im not taking anything away from out troops. This is about consumers and self proclaimed "patriots" that do nothing to help preserve the very economic engine that spurred the massive growth of our great nation ,but feel they can pull the freedom card over and over. Ya know ?
  8. Soooooo unhappy with Ford .Yet you cannot seem to pull yourself away from this website long enough to give George Lucas a reach around ? And you call yourself a Sith. Here ,maybe this is more your speed http://www.liquidgeneration.com/Media/Defa...px?MediaId=1716
  9. I dont have anything to add here. I just wanted to be part of the biggest thread of all time. I mean almost 200,000 views ? 180 pages ?Yall are some dedicated sons uh bitches at OAC !
  10. I think that everyone can agree that Beyonce is a big part of Global warming . Huuuut. :banmolest:
  11. Well, someones gotta tell those flyboys when its gonna rain. Ok ,well then just keep on keepin on. Damn,I want some pie now. p.s.- Regardless of our differences, thank you and your family for your service.
  12. No offense man,but thats called submission . Only the strong survive as they say.Being in the Air Force,I would think that your resolve would be stronger that my friend. To just say "oh well things change, you better change to" ,is hardly a plan. Things change yes,but ask yourself who makes these changes ? Or do you let others dictate the quality of life that you have while you exist ? If you dont stand for anything other than to say "things change" ,well then you stand for nothing . And if things are usually changing for the good, when was the last time you got your share of the pie ?
  13. Its not a psychological breakdown. Nor is it a education on economics.Take it all with a grain of salt, and just try and see the big picture. If you feel the urge to try and nit pick a sentence, then you probably don't understand anyways. That doesn't mean you cant reply. Its just means that if you are offended ,then you probably are the type of person I'm talking about.BTW ,if you do decide to respond, please don't quote the entire post.Just the part's you are talking about.Takes up to much space. Thanks. What separates todays America from its former worldwide glory days ? Todays America requires no sacrifice on anyones part. There is no shortage of materials or food. We are not at war with a country that has something we want or need (don't say oil anyone) . No,the days of TRUE patriotism and coming together are long over. We live in a society of instant gratification ,where its all ME ME ME. No one thinks about the long haul. Thats why our grandparents are known as the "Greatest Generation" .They understood what it meant to see the face of adversity and compromise. There was something bigger than themselves. We are so conditioned to take and not replenish, that if we are ever truly called to sacrifice, we will fall flat on our face in any half hearted attempt. This generation ,(mine aka Gen X) or the ones after us will leave nothing behind but internet profiles and blogs about Brittany or Anna Nicole. In the times of YouTube and MySpace etc,its no surprise that people cannot focus long enough to see the bigger picture . You cannot vigorously continue to consume the competitors products while ignoring your own . We have forfeited the very industries that have made America what it is. While we consume and consume , we don't take into account the devastating job loss that we have encountered, and the fact that you cannot have a nation of service workers (McDonald's etc) and expect to have economic stabilization. This will come full circle, and we as a nation will be forced to pay the reaper. While we send our troops around the world to police idiots who just want to destroy each other in the name of a God,and why we are busy updating our MySpace page, screaming at the television during American Idol, spending millions of dollars in media expenses and lab testing to find Anna Nicoles baby's daddy, boycotting Tom Cruise cuz he jumped on a couch, and trying to find the next superstar on You Tube, the rest of the world is moving forward, and positioning themselves to knock the U.S. flat on its "free" ass and topple us as the worlds economic superpower. They have acquired the desire to be the best and the biggest. The same burning desire that we once had. Our debt is owned by our potential enemies, all while they increase their rapid build-up of their military and weapons arsenal. Our national healthcare system is in a crisis blah blah blah. Whatever. No,its not all because someone bought a Toyota ,its because our collective thought process on what freedom and patriotism really mean, have been dwindled down to soundbite's and video clips. "I want it now" . I want "My Reality TV" . But please ,lets all continue on with our freedom ringing. Lets leave behind a nation of a million Walmarts and McDonalds for our children to inherit. Cuz thats freedom baby ! Yeah,I can drive what I want ,buy what I want, consume what I want, cuz that's the American way ! Oh yeah ! And there will be absolutely no toll whatsoever to pay in the future . Nope,we can just keeeeep on keepin on. Don't worry about debt. Hell,we can just use debt to pay off debt. Don't worry about foreign competition .After all ,they said themselves that they are worried about the potential backlash from American consumers if that topple our biggest domestic companies. They said that right ? No,they are gauging our threshold for economic loyalty and pain. Foreign companies know damn well that todays America is a ME America. They know more than anyone that our loyalty is limited only buy our credit cards limits, and that our patriotism only goes as far as a magnetic ribbon on the trunk of our Nissan (ribbons made in China BTW). Never the less , we don't bother to check the label if you will,on where we spend our money. You can make whatever argument you want on why you buy the things you buy . Quality, style ,freedom of choice? Doesn't matter. Todays entrepreneur's are creating new industries in places where typical workforces are no longer needed. Cyberspace, private equity investments ,VC's etc. These practices leave your average worker in the cold . Technology is making it very easy to become rich without even having an actual office space, much less a factory. Because as we continue to lose middle class jobs, and the cost of education rises along with healthcare ,there will be no one left to create new industries that require actual physical bodies to manage them . Because the unskilled line worker or the uneducated mill worker have no way of making a transition to anything else. News flash, minimum wage doesn't get it anymore folks . You almost need to be making $20 and hour just to survive anymore. But people dont care about this as they live on a shoe string budget anyways. If you drink the well dry ,you will pay the price. No freedom is absolute .SOMEONE has to pay the price. And in the case of the automotive sector and industries like it,its the American middle class worker. So no one should dare say that its simply a free country. Im sick of hearing people say that "our soldiers have fought and died for generations so that you may have the freedom of choice" .Save it. No soldier went to war so that you could drive a Camry. No soldier got mutilated and thought to himself "well at least Toyota is in NASCAR now' . Thats not freedom. Real freedom and patriotism is commitment. Commitment to your country first .Yourself last.
  14. Obviously, you will never comprehend what it means. And thats not me just being a prick, its just the truth. You dont work in this industry, and you dont see the daily and constant bullshit that we see. The same type of things that forced the formation of the UAW to begin with. If you did,you wouldnt be asking.Period. Second, the soldier comparison is only over the top if you take it that way.Its just an analogy. Im clearly wasting my fingertips here,so you just keep on with your attitude on freedoms and all that, while the rest of us continue to pay the price. EVERYTIME I buy something ,I try to buy American. Yes soldiers fight for all of us (when the war is just) ,but we owe our loyalty to this country FIRST. Not to some government subsidized company like Toyota. And yes, when soldiers buy a Toyota or similar ,yeah it pisses me off. Because I pay taxes that pay those soldiers. I never understood how anyone can die for their country and wave our flag and then go out and buy an import knowing there are other choices. Soldiers are people like us.When they are at war , they are heros .When they are home, they are Americans. They are people like us. And I dont understand it. Yet I do know why. Todays America requires no sacrifice on anyones part. There is no shortage of materials or food. We are not at war with a country that has something we want or need (dont say oil anyone) . No,the days of TRUE patriotism and coming together are long over. We live in a society of instant gratification ,where its all ME ME ME. No one thinks about the long haul. No freedom is absolute .SOMEONE has to pay the price. And in the case of the automotive sector, its the American middle class worker. So no one should dare say that its simply a free country. Apparently your job is not affected by the same market forces as ours is. So,easy for you to say. :boring: p.s.-What do you do for a living ?
  15. Thats why your just another assembler. No imagination.
  16. Well said. Cant remember tha last time Yota sold an 800hp Camry.
  17. Its called implying. You are on a Ford employee website ,taking a stance against our thought on the subject of what solidarity and UAW loyalty means. You have no clue what so ever what it means to belong to such a battle ridden union like the UAW. Brothers and sisters of the past have DIED and been beaten senseless by ex-felons that Ford hired to keep its workers in line. They fought, sacrificed ,bled and DIED for the rights and benefits that we have today as UAW brothers and sisters. And it is up to us as the current brotherhood/sisterhood to keep those sacrifices in the front of our minds when we choose to spend the money that our union fought to get us. Imagine our soldiers overseas dying everyday for your rights. Would you raise a foreign nations flag before your own countries ? Would you swear allegiance to a nation that has ill intentions towards your country ? I would hope not. The UAW and organizations like it,are not your standard run of the mill groups. There is a rich history of struggle and gain in which we hold dearly. Is it perfect ? Hell no. But its OUR imperfection, and we deal with it the way we damn well please. People who buy an import with the money that our brothers of past died and bled ,have no place at my table or the bargaining table. Kill someone ? Of course not. But damnit ,if they are willing to disgrace the hard fought battle of the UAW and all for which it stands ,then they can change a fuckin tire. p.s.-What do you do for a living ? read this http://www.blueovalforums.com/forums/index...showtopic=11337
  18. To all the NON Ford employees that come on these boards to say thank you for a quality product or to show us support in these tough times ,I would like to say thank you on behalf of all the fellow UAW members here and everywhere. YOU are the reason we bust our asses every day in tough working conditions and 110 degree heat . We know you have many choices when it comes to spending your hard earned money, but you choose us. So thank you all sincerely...... BUT HOLD ON ! To all you other lil pot stirring trolls that come on these boards and talk shit about the UAW,Ford or our dedication to quality I say to you KISS OUR ASS ! (Sorry,no verbal abuse allowed so I toned it down) Why ? Its simple. I consistently see people who do not identify their own line of work come up here and degrade and trash talk what we do,what we are paid and how bad our product is. In the meanwhile ,you hide behind the cloak of anonymity and talk about " Oh my Toyota/Honda never gave me any problems ,but my F-WHATEVER has been in the shop 498,078 times !" BULLSHIT. Its called the luck of the draw people. ALL auto makers have quality and production problems. ALL OF THEM ! Yet instead of doing any intelligent research on the publicly available data ,you cry about how your gweebo disc flew off your truck while you were trying to pull wifes Honda out of a ditch. Before you trash talk us or our membership, how about identifying what you do ,and where you do it ? I mean its only fair. The UAW and Fords info are readily available on the net and in the news,so its no secret whats going on with us. Or are you afraid that you might not like what you hear in return ? Yeah its real easy to sit there and talk shit about us and Ford, and praise your neighbors, former best friends 3rd cousins 1994 Honda Accord ,because Im sure you know every single item in the cars maintenance log. All Im saying is that before anyone else says "its a free country ,people can buy what they want, and domestics have more quality problems" ,tell us a little bit about yourself. Because that freedom bell is ringing on deaf ears . The domestic automotive industry has been a beacon for freedom of choice and American values before any of us were born. So save that shit for your Japanese employer. We are all out in the open as UAW members,so lets make this a fair game. Otherwise, drive your Toyonda straight to hell.
  19. Wow,your right on the money dipshit. Its a miracle that Honda has NEVER had ANY quality problems or recalls. Do you ever even bother to research any actual and factual information to back up that blanket statement ? Or do you just troll the Honda employees forums and take everything at face value ? But no,lets here your "indicative" rational and data that supports the fact that Honda has no problems what so ever .No really,we are all waiting......... :reading: p.s.- I dont wanna rain on your parade man,but uhhh Santa aint real either.Sorry.
  20. Oh cool, when did the Air Force start building Humvees ? Listen,to put it in your terms Goose, just imagine if a bunch of hot and sweaty Marines invaded your poop dick and you were forced to take it .Sorry,I dont know the lingo, but its kinda like that.
  21. Great story. Even though I havent had the privilege of working at DTP, I can tell you that they do a fine job. And even though NAP is closing,we still do the best we can. We all realize that at the end of the day,no matter how we feel personally, some one is spending a lot of their hard earned money on these trucks, and they deserve a quality product. We know that you could have bought anything you wanted Ken,but you chose a Ford truck. Thats all the thanks we need. Enjoy it buddy. p.s.-Dont worry about offending anyone who doesnt work at DTP. We understand how you feel. The people at DTP put their mind and body into your truck.
  22. I would have thought that a Harvard graduate like yourself would have either avoided this "illiterate" discussion all together ,or you would have at the least come with something better than "dogfucker" . Dukka, dont forget man,I said that news reports said he did a courtesy flush at the glass house. Thats gotta be worth some serious cash. :happy feet:
