It's the same story here in Maryland. They fooled the stupid voter base into approving casinos since all of the proceeds were legally tied to going to the education fund. All it ended up doing is taking education money that was originally coming from the general fund and replacing it with casino taxes. Then they just funded new programs with the "freed up" general fund money and all the sudden we need more taxes because they schools still aren't getting enough.

Because twice the engines is twice the awesome. I'd guess that there will be multiple high-high performance Mustangs.
I loved the sounds all around! Don't know what the complaining is about.

Really, they should just simplify it to a "range" number and then just use a separate unpublished number for CAFE. The "combined" number they started using is at least a step in the right direction. No one will ever be entirely happy with it though, as outliers to data sets will always exist.

Will also note again: those front brakes are HUGE!!!

Pretty aggressive front end sculpting. Not sure it really matches the more subtle aesthetic of the rest of the body. But hey, function over form in this case I suppose.

how many other vehicles even show things like the axle ratio, let alone feature it?
Mustang.

Working right next to a major airport, I'm sure I'll see the passenger vans as soon as they start becoming available.

Multimatic has been very successful with Mustangs recently with the Boss 302R's in the Continental Tire Sports Car Series, so it's certainly not a new relationship with Ford Racing. Seems to be a very capable company if they should decide to expand that cooperation.

Won't hold my breath, but it really wouldn't take much to get there from where they are. Given the weight advantage though, would it really need it?

GM is limited with what they can do with the Escalade if they are going to continue to pin it to the rest of GM's fullsize SUVs, similar to Lincoln with the Navigator. I think a split in architectures would be required to really take either vehicle to a Range Rover-type level.

I wonder how much they are going to be asking for this when it comes out...
And I also wonder what Ford is going to do as a response...I see the GT350 as a more rounded track car ala the Boss vs an all out monster 1/4 driver like the what the GT500 was.
Well, there's nobody saying the GT500 won't return still.

And people think Lincolns MK scheme was confusing.
Oh, it still is, and I still have my fingers crossed they change it.

I've seen Older model trucks, countless Chevell's and Nova's all trailered in barely cracking 11's most are 12 second cars. Almost every car on the show "pinks" that ran the 11 second bracket and pass time was trailered in. We are talking Iron headed Big Block turds that seem to make more noise than actual power. There are even aluminum headed deals not worth a shit. It's actually entertaining watching some cars with big slicks and roaring Big Blocks unloaded from trailers lumbering down the 1320. Not too long ago (99-03') low 13, high 12 was crazy fast for a street driven car.
Fair enough. Things have certainly changed a lot in the past 10-15 years for sure.

Interesting. As integrated as the battery and electric motor packs are in Tesla's designs, I think powertrain replacements could affect a lot more of the rest of the vehicle than replacing a traditional engine/transmission which is relatively isolated from the rest of the vehicle by comparison.

My girlfriend will be thrilled to hear this news.

I'm not sure engine capacity allows for more then that?
In a vehicle as profitable as the Ram surely is, if capacity for an engine option was an issue, you'd think they'd find a way to supply more of them.

Welcome aboard! Sounds like you've been in the Ford family for quite some time. Hope you enjoy the 2015 F-150 once you get it.

The Q50 was the G; the Q60 was the M, what's the Q70 then? I don't think they had 3 sedans did they?
The QX50 was the EX, the QX70 was the FX, and the QX80 was the QX56. Not sure what the QX60 was.
You're right. Have no idea which is which lol
I'd assume the Q70 is the new large sedan. But yeesh, talk about solving a problem that didn't exist. Not to mention really pissing off all the members of the National G Club.

I assumed it was a reference to the original Infiniti flagship, the Q45.
In the past year, ALL of their models have been renamed Q-something: Q50, Q60, Q70, QX50, QX60, QX70, QX80. Don't ask me to tell you which is which, cuz I have no idea.

^ yeah that's hauling the mail. This thing would put most trailered cars at the local track to shame. Best part is, show up on drag radials and drive home.
Who the heck trailers an 11-second car to the track? Several Shelbys in our Cobra Club running 9's and 10's that are very streetable.

I'll still only fide a Harley.
Even Ford produces the Focus in Mexico for import to US.
Don't you mean Fusion? (and Fiesta)

I always get a chuckle when people refer to the "Military Industrial Complex". Companies you would consider being part of that are all making plenty of money whether we are at war or not...and they gainfully employ hundreds of thousands of Americans. And then they act like they are all in cahoots to start wars just so they can sell more F-35s or Predators. It just doesn't work that way. They are businesses like any other business. How on earth did any of them stay in business during the mid-90's? :club:
Is Coca-Cola causing global warming so more people get thirsty too?

The Ford launch website on the Mustang has numerous videos about the signature design themes and heritage elements. Have you seen that site? It’s totally a retro vehicle.
That's like saying BMW's are retro because they still have kidney grilles.

Should still be covered under bumper-to-bumper, no? Let the dealership take care of it.

Knew he wouldn't stay still for long. Seems a good fit for him given Google's recently announced goals.
