This I am fully aware of.....FOXRUN OF OAC... I am not using this to discuss union grievences, I only hope our union had "some" solidarity because there is none. Before I left to go to school for the last time I ran into a guy I used to work on the line with...I said "if you need anything come and find me and I'll help where I can" as far as his job goes, ie. balancers and such things. I probably can't help much but I put it out there anyways...He says to me...I thought production and trades hated each other.....That is a huge issue. Do I like what happening in our plant, NO...Many of my friends are getting laid off and most likely myself which is part of business.

Well said Wixom..Our plant is going through massive changes both in product as well as culture...Our past plant manager F. Garneau did not use his money effectively sending cash back to Detroit labeled as "savings" He has constantly threatened our production and skilled trades brothers and sisters. For a launch that was supposed to be one of the most important, They left an incompetent maniac at the helm...And like most ships steered by a lunatic we are sinking. I hope the UAW brothers and sisters laid off find employment to take care of their families and I wish you all a great Christmas, Ford is part of our culture in North America no-matter how much they frustrate us by laying us off because of bad planning and vehicle design and a political system that promotes foreign strength while hurting its own people. I spent some time in New Orleans in a joint program with ACORN and the CAW rebuilding homes for some of the victims. The US government is not helping the inhabitant sof New Orleans so why would they help the rest of the north americans by implementing some strict rules regarding fair market trading with the Asian countries...
