Alot of people (gm guys) don't believe there is anymore "easy" power to be had in the 5.4L.... This true?

Any 5.4L power jump this year or only after?

Chevy's new trucks are going to be near the same weight or a little less then the f150, the f150 is going on a diet though and expect it to weigh less when it's refresh comes out. The gmt 900 suv's are near the same weight of the new expedition so the trucks should be close to the f150.

GM has new product coming yes but their not all that great, low volume vehicles that make little to no profit. GM has some good vehicles here now but their marketed horribly and can't stop the bleeding and huge losses they keep incuring. You can have product hit after product hit but if you can't make money.... it won't help. The quality of some of their new vehicles is also still poor where ford seems to have picked it up on all their new models. GM basically bet the bank on the gmt 900 suv which to me is a big mistake....... Ford has some excellent product here now and some more nice stuff coming in key areas that are hot and might actually sell enough to make some dough unlike GM which can't seem to get anything right at all, plus they their #1 supplier has a strike looming over their heads

Most of the older fella's seem to be level headed, there are just to many newbies there that are 16 years old and tend to be a little off kilter :D I like GMI but sometimes some members really drive me nuts. They seem to be bombared lately with super newbs and trolls that add nothing to the site, i have already had a convo with nsap about certain people. I am not very old either, i am only 22.

I don't mind the bashing either, i do a good bit of my own. I just hate all the bandwagon jumpers that call it ugly b/c the guy before him did and i also hate the ones that make stupid comments and there are plenty of those people on GMI. If you hate it, atleast explain why and think before you post so you don't look like a moron, that's beyond most people though :lol: This is why i like it here, most have common sense and can carry on a conversation and not look like a freakin moron :D

I better hide here for awhile, long enough so everyone can calm down on GMI and get their ford bashing out of their system :lol: To many dummies over there that just bash everything without a GM badge. Sad...

I can't say anything "good" about it on GMI, i get beat on :lol: I said it looks better in these pics then the ones given to us from edmunds but i was laughed at. Everyone has gone to bed holding their escalade pillows nice and close

It's the chrome slab that totally sucks and ruins the whole front end, take it off and it might look good but my god Ford. Who in the hell designed this thing, the aztec dude?

It's overall more powerful and may be a bit quieter but the focus i find is a better overall car for me, i like a car that drives well,handles well,great breaks,good powerband etc.. The focus offers it all except maybe a few db's higher then the cobalt, not a big deal for me. The duratec in the focus is also more refined and doesn't sound like that thrashy ecotec, it's smoother and just a better running engine. The cobalt could of been a whole lot better but in typical GM fashion they go half way and quit. The model was like mid trim.Whatever gm calls it, Ls7,ls2,lt,lssss78,ncc 1701-d

It's not just the interior that sucks in the cobalt, the handling sucks, it's driving dynamics suck. The focus is going on 6 years old and it still put the cobalt to shame except maybe overall power. The cobalt is ok to drive on the highway in a straight line, once u hit twisties the focus laughs at it.
