  1. I am sorry to hear about that. Our current situation is a disgrace.
  2. Well I totally agree with you about us retirees in Ohio and else where getting screwed. I have accumalated over 5,000.00 in doctors bill so far and my insurance Medical Mutual of Ohio ( TCN ) has only agreed to pay around 200.00 dollars. It hardly seems like it is medical insurance at all. My doctors office has agrreed to let me make payments so far. The insurance company has negotiated insurance adjustments with the doctors but actual medical payments are very rare. I do only pay 30.00 dollars a month though. I would rather pay more a month and have insurance that acutally pays for something. I have heard that Ohio locals have really raised their concerns about this current situation. I can only hope that the current situation is improved upon.
  3. Thank you for the info. My local in Brook Park is really hard to get any info from as they are only part time there now.
  4. Whom do you refer to when you say your local insurance rep ?
  5. I am not commenting about the Nesc and Unicare issue but Fidelity was not taken over by another company. We simply do not have access to them anymore. ACS does not own Fidelity.
  6. I am from Ohio and I had Anthem Hmo which was very good. The union never offered us one with the new Verba.
  7. My card says the same thing. I live in N East Ohio and I was told by Medical Mutual of Ohio that I have TCN.
  8. https://www.benefitsweb.com/rhcc.html Well I am not sure if the site will allow you to create a account if you are not retired yet.
  9. I have Medical Mutual of Ohio and so far for 4 doctors visit's , 3 for my wife and 1 for me my total responsibility is 1,350 dollars. My wife has to have lab work done on a regular basis as she has many health issues. Medical Mutual says I have to pay another 220.00 dollars before We reach the 570.00 out of pocket max. You would think that we would of already reached that by now. It is very difficult to figure out exactly how much we owe as Medical Mutual does not seem to pay for anything. My wife has had to go to the doctors office 2 more times since i received that 1,350 dollar figure. I remember when we first received our new insurance packet and it said we got to keep the coverage that we had. I would hardly call this the same coverage that we had. I have read some of the retirees in Mich say we deserve the insurance that we have in Ohio. Well I say how would you like to have this crappy insurance ? Some of you from Michigan say if we had your insurance than the Veba will not survive. Well if that is the case than why don't all you Mich retirees tell the union you want what we have in Ohio to presrve the Verba. Oh and by the way I have nothing against Michigan retirees as I lived half my life in Michigan and I still love it. I still have half of my family that lives there including my dad who is also a Ford retiree. Oh and by the way I have been told by Medical Mutual I have TCN care even though my card also shows TCN and Super PPO.
  10. I thought the topic was about retiree medical benefits ? Why all the far right wing religious posts ?
  11. I would first like to state that I am very grateful that I do have retirement healthcare but not all plans are the same. You can go to https://www.benifitsweb.com/rhcc.html and create a login to download all the different plans. You can clearly see that some plans are much better than others. I live in Ohio and I do not think that it is fair that some areas get much better healthcare than I do. It just is not right.
  12. Well I am glad that some of you have had good luck with them. I can only state about the horrible service I have had with them. I hope things improve with them but only time will tell.
  13. I am retired and live in N E Ohio. Everyone I know has had problems with Medco. My doctors office thinks they are terrible too.
  14. I have to ask what exactly works well with Medco ? This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. They lie to you and try to dictate to you what medication you are to receive. They think they know more about you than your family doctor does. Oh and by the way my meds are 20.00 dollars for generics and 50.00 dollars for name brands for 90 days supply. My wife has to take 10 different meds and I have to take 2. It is simply hell trying to get these filled with this company. You should do a internet search about this company and you will find pages and pages of complaints about this company. I say again what works well with this company ?
  15. I have had Medical Mutual of Ohio ( TCN ) since Jan 1 2010 and from what i have seen so far it is not very good. I have received statments from them for doctor visits which did include some test for my wife and me and it does not look like they want to pay for anything. I am still waiting for a bill from my doctor. My wife has many medical problems and she has to go to the doctors office quite regular and i can see that this will most likely cost me a lot of out of pocket expense. Now on the Medco topic i think they are a bunch of liars. I just ordered 2 perscriptions for my wife online on 4-8-10 and i received a message that i had to take some forms to my doctor and he had to fax them the perscriptions. They where faxed the same day. They were supposed to be shipped on 4-16-10. I checked on 4-16-10 and the web site now said they would not be shipped untill 4-21-10. My wife called up Medco and they gave her the runaround and said they were still being processed even though the website said they would be shipped on 4-16-10 ealier in the week. The person told her they would now ship them 4-19-10 and they would pay for a short supply of meds for my wife at our local phamacy. Well ten min after getting of the phone we received a message from Medco that our order could not be processed. My wife called Medco back and they told her they had no record of my wifes order at first and then they found it. Thet confirmed what my wife was told before. My wife than went to our local pharmacy later that day to get her small supply of meds and they told her Medco would not pay for them. Well my wife than called Medco back and with the pharmist help was able to get Medco to pay for the small order. Well now this is a day later and I just checked the order online and it now shows the order will not be shipped untill 4-22-10 . I have checked online about complaints with Medco and there are pages and pages of complaints about them. Well I say Medco really sucks !
  16. I have 33 years and i am 52 years old and work at CCP as a machine operator. I will most likely take the buyout.
  17. I have 33+ at CCP and i am thinking about taking the 35k and say good bye next year.
  18. Where did you hear that 4.6 volume is going down 75 % ? I work at the casting plant too and i have not heard those figures although i have heard some reductions on the 4.6 in the future. Also the demand for the 5.4 and 6.8 is down quite a lot as all the 2 mold line down weeks proves that. The demand for 4.6 is up right now.
