    Sorry but I live in Howell and that is 65 miles from the rouge.I would say watch out for the taxes any place that doesn't have cows in the fields.lol

    I would like to see something that spells out what options the company is allowing for NAP. You don't have to be in a rush to buy a house up here, it is a buyers market.You could get a good buy from many wixom workers taking the buy out and moving south.

    I don't know anything about MTP,but the top seniority production people at Wixom where offered the chance to leave first .This happend a few years ago when we lost a shift.

    The Rouge and most of the plants in south east Michigan have had people(Tradesmen) in Gen for 2 years. I hope your husband gets to transfer but it is not very likely. Good luck to you and your family

    Is 400 the number for DTP, or is it for the whole rouge complex ?

    I work at the Wixom plant and there are wild rumors about dtp and the rest of the rouge screwing up the contract big time. Can anyone shed some light on what the revised contract says. I am a welder and would like to know what we are facing. They don't really want us to work the line. then fix the break downs as they come up.

    The welder fixure repair guys at Wixom were offered the same deal on wednesday.But they did not get the transfer offer.

    Rumors on the floor at Wixom: Is that Wixom will remain open and that Atlanta, St louis ,and St Thomas will close. Is anyone else hearing this?
