I just returned from MIchigan helping my husband move into his temp place. On the first day the first group of transfers started, 13 vehicles had windows broken. The M Tech center is in the same building I believe as Henry Ford College. This is the meeting place for the transfers. It's located off Schaefer Highway and is not too far from the main plants. The parking lot is open for anyone to go into, off from the road, trees around it, and not in a good area. Any group of people coule have been walking around looking for trouble when they came upon all of the out-of-state vehicles. Jackpot for them! I believe alot of the vehicles hit were Suvs and trucks. The ones most likey to have dvd players, gps systems, good stereo systems and other valuable items. It has been no secret that over 300 people would be tranferring from Norfolk to the area. Good crooks do their homework. They could have been waiting for the right moment to hit those cars. Not all of Michigan is bad. My husband and I were eating at a restruant and were sitted next to a husband/wife Ford salaried employees and ended up having a nice conversation with them. I hope that no one from NAP goes around giving DTP any lip because they do not know for certain who did it and they will just be making the situation worse. What I know about NAP is the pride and the friendships and the loyalty and I hope they do not go below that. Word of advice for anyone going up to DTP is not to leave any valuable in your car including hiding anything under seats, glove box,etc and take any stereos, dvd players, or gps systems out of your vehicle. And just remember how we are in the South: we look out for each other and respect each other
