I drove a Colo before buying my Ranger last fall. I think the only things the Colo has going for it is a stronger base engine and more versatile options. I'm very happy I got my Ranger.

And no balance shaft (which is fine by me.) But it's still the same engine.

Well since I was one of those pushing for a forum for the Rangers, I'll make the first post. My 05 longbed is excellent so far. Fuel economy is surprisingly good, even when loaded. Last tank included three firewood runs and 120 miles on the highway with 1000+ pounds of equipment, and it still got 27.4mpg! Pretty amazing, really.
