  1. Your facts are entirely bogus and slanderous. I expect an apology.
  2. Don't hide behind a fake name. It makes you ball-less I was elected four consecutive terms and held the job 12 years in a row. That is a record for any skilled trades chairman, especially here. Can you say that? One thing all elected people need to remember is that you can't make "everyone" happy "all" the time. I have sure learned that lesson in my 12 years as Skilled Trades Chairman. But I kept the majority happy and I damn sure kept work in house. I am leaving, so it doesn't do me any good to play word games with you on the computer. I expect to keep fighting for all of us to the best of my abilities in my new position. What I do want to say before I leave, is that this forum makes Ohio Assembly Plant look like the biggest joke in the system with all of the bullshit politics played on here by a few folks looking to pump up themselves by making others look bad. Everyone reading this needs to ask themselves one question. Why is it that some people are not doing things to make themselves look good in the eyes of the membership, instead of making others in their race look bad? You should run for office on your own laurels, not on others "alleged" mistakes. Especially when the "allegations" come from opponents. Half truths, twisted tales designed to make them look better in the eyes of the membership only tear apart this plant and this local. Salary people, hourly people, V.P's, the whole damn world can come on here and reads this assinine bullshit. You air our dirty laundry to the whole world, and half of it isn't even true. It shines a bad light on our plant that is uncalled for. Most of you don't have the balls to say any of this to anyone's face in public, because you would be called on it. Ford owns this website, it should be either be pulled down, or you should have to log in with real info and prove you are an employee to view it IMO. Many of you do not see the inner workings of the Union structure, you work your job every day and base your opinions on what you hear. It is a shame that most of the work that is done, is unknown to the membership. 90% of the membership never goes to the Union with a problem so they really don't know what goes on or what they do. The game is changed, it is all defense right now. The biggest problem with the Ohio Assembly Union is the lack of solidarity on some of the structure's part. I am not knocking anyone in particular here, as I no longer have any political motives. But when elections are over, the Union is expected to put aside politics and work for the betterment of the membership, not spend the next three years in office trying to make someone above them look bad so they can move up, or make someone below them look bad so they can't move up. Whoever gets elected should remember that, or you are doing a disservice to the membership. The membership should make decisions based on actions, not on hype or accusation. You all have a great future at Ohio Assembly, I will miss the plant dearly, it was my home for 17 years. I wish all of you the best of luck with the new product and hope your sales soar through the roof. I hope in my new position I can be of service to all of you once again. Chris Viscomi
  3. Boy, you are a real braintrust! You are actually saying "When a person is accused of something that is FALSE, and they Answer the FALSE accusations...they are lying?????" If that is what you are saying, then someone should should let themselves be slandered and not set the record straight, because a response would be a lie? That may work for your mentality, but I have found the opposite to be true. Usually when someone sets the record straight, it shuts the other party up. Therefore I presume- that you are too stupid to shut up. How's that for some figgurin.
  4. Oh, and by the way, I see Stock jobs are up for bid just like I said. Looks as though you have been proven to be WRONG. I see no sense in answering any more of your false accusations. I am already pissed off at myself for even logging on this ridiculous string. I can see where this could be a constructive tool, if those who post actually had some facts, and although some do have real issues, the "dishonest" ones ruin it for the rest. Most people I talk to are already getting along just fine here.
  5. { LIKE FATHER LIKE SON COMPANY MAN } Like I SAID ENJOY YOUR LAST TERM IN OFFICE COMPANY MAN I tried to be nice and I answered all of your bullshit accusations.... You obviously have nothing worthwhile to respond with other than your "like father, like son" shit. My Father was a Journeyman Pipefitter by trade, first at NASA, then at Ford. During the mass layoffs at Brookpark in the 80's, he took a job as a Supervisor in order to keep a job, so his family would have a place to live and continue eating. He then went to College during the day, and worked nightshift to better himself. He recieved a college degree and was promoted several times. After 31 years in the Foundry at Brookpark, he retired. I actually hope you are right, I hope I am half the man my father is. I again invite you to my office, where you may confront me face to face. My office number is 440-933-1424. Come up and see me sometime. I do not hide behind a false name like you "Dis-honest".
  6. One Dishonest Worker Let me aswer your ludicrous accusations one at a time: Chris frist of all your brother is a labor relations rep for the company My only brother...is a doctor your family dos'nt know weather they are union or company but it works out good for your family to cut hogs for each other union and company working together, I have a long line of both Company and Union members in my family. My cousins and Uncles are current and retired officers for the Teamsters and AFLCIO. I also have an Uncle who is the HR manager at Walton Hills, one who is a retired HR manager from Visteon, and my father is retired and was a Maintenance Supt. Now, what that has do do with me, I don't know. But if I was "A COMPANY MAN" as you say, I don't think I would have been elected four times in row for the past 10 years now by the Skilled Trades at Ohio Assembly. I suggest , whoever you are, that you leave my family out of this, and deal with the facts. You can come up to my office anytime and introduce yourself if you are man enough. If not, all I ask is that you try to verify your bullcrap before you spew it like a chickenshit behind your fake name. when did your cousin get his drivers license as soon as he hired in at ford thanks to his comany/union family ? No, I believe he either got it at our plant when he bid on the General Utility job last year, or maybe 1 of the 2 times he was transferred to Lorain, I wasn't really keeping track so I am unsure exactly when. Most people don't get the training though, unless driving is required for their job, so I assure you that was the case. You bid on a job that requires a license, they send you to class, you get a license....tada....no magic there. why get on this forum to try and defend yourself by lying, you should have told the truth something like this ( IF I CAN"T TAKE CARE OF MY FAMILY HOW CAN I TAKE CARE OF THE MEMBERSHIP !!!! ) Truth is, I would ensure my cousin gets a fair shake if he gets in trouble, but he has a clean work record, and hasn't needed or asked me for help yet. He's a good kid and never caused me any legwork. and we all know that you will defend nick your in his click just like ben Davey the ERG rep keeps doing so he will be on here answering this defending nick. nick and his click need to enjoy there last term in office the people are not not happy with you guys Again, if that was the case, then why do I keep getting elected? Again, this is my fourth consecutive term.I think that altough many of the Trades are unhappy about the whole situation in our plant, they elected me for my experience, hoping that I could make the best out of this transfer. I will do all I can for them, and try to keep everyone working, and find other opportunities for those who are not. It is obvious from all of your mis-information, that you do not really know me or about me. But yet you spew garbage that others read and may believe. You and people like you are the reason there is so much turmoil in the plant, and on the internet. Get your facts straight, or shut up... I am defending Nick, since I see what he does everyday (being in his click). I have a lot of problems with the 488 trades during this merger and transfer, but his problems with thousands of production, hundreds of TLO's , hundreds of job bids, and shift preference in the middle of it ....make me feel guilty that I complain about the bullcrap I am going through right now. If we don't all keep our eye on the ball and work together, we all will fail. It is no surprise that along with our merger and transfer we gained a few political groups who all want to play "King of the Hill" . You are either one of them, or one of their minions.....or maybe ...just maybe...a poor misguided- soul crying foul and whining in your ignorance. Either wayGET YOUR FACTS STRAIGHT, OR NO ONE WILL EVER BELIEVE YOUE ARE "ONE HONEST WORKER".
  7. Food for thought, I know you probably can't be convinced that assigning anyone temporarily is bullshit, but my cousin and everyone else that were assigned to Stock - were assigned temporarily, BECAUSE 18 OF THEM HAD DRIVER'S LICENSES THAT CAME IN OUT OF GEN. Our in plant PMHV trainers are not available, one refuses to train anymore (Spiegel) and the other retired. So in order to let the senior people go to dayshift, and let the retiring members take TLO, those with a valid license were TEMPORARILY put on Stock jobs. No one is getting those jobs permanantly, or because of "past practice" (which does not even apply here). Within a couple weeks the jobs will be posted, and the seniority individuals will get trained and fill those jobs. Believe it or not. It would not make any sense to take another individual working the line, temporarily place them on a job, and now train someone for their job and that job , when you have to post the job in a couple weeks anyway. I know you have a hard time believing it, the CONSPIRACY THEORY is one of your favorite pastimes on this website. But these are the facts, and time will prove me correct. My cousin is not entitled to anything because he is my cousin, if that was the case, I could think of many better jobs I could have him put on. Get over it. None of you can understand that all of the planning in the world could expedite this any faster than it is going right now. The TLO's are enough problems in themselves to get released, without the job postings that are about to hit by the hundreds. What Nick did was try to solve the seniority shift preference issue at the same time as releasing the TLO's so we did not have seniority members on a shift that they did not want. That is step one. The next step will be posting all of the jobs vacated, which they are currently identifying by shift and department. They will be posted, and the next step will be to cross train and backfill. There is no way to do everything at once people. You canb sit back and criticize any issue, but believe me, you have absolutely no idea of the entire scenario that has to be played out in order to do things correctly. If you did, no one would be bitching. I understand your pessimism, but the worst part is over, it will only get better from here. The jobs will be bid, and the seniority individuals will get the jobs they can hold. That process itself will take weeks if not months, since everyone that moves must be replaced, and the person replacing them must be replaced, etc.. etc.. etc... Give the plan a chance to be enacted and realize the size an amount of shifting and churning we are actually talking about here. Multiply the one job you are bitching about by about several hundred, and you will have a truer picture of the real situation. Chris Viscomi OHAP Skilled Trades Chairman
