  1. Good luck if you get ours. I think all the duct tape will prolly fall off as it's going down the road.
  2. Should let us know at the meeting tomorrow but I think it is paid once a year as a lump sum.
  3. Who can afford those prices? That's almost 3 hours pay.
  4. Rumors started of us shutting down in 1926. We still have people in the plant that were there when the rumors started. I think they are going to turn down the buyout and hope for a big turn around at nap.
  5. Atleast you're giving 30% the benefit of the doubt.
  6. We aren't all mentally challenged. Only a select few.
  7. It's their own fault. They announce we're shutting down in 08 and the first thing they do is offer transfers to salery and start moving them out of the place like it's on fire. Now we have a bunch of fill in supervisers that aren't getting any info either. Then the plant manager puts out a memo on monday a few weeks ago and said he would let us know by friday how we were going to work the one shift after we get back from shutdown. A week and a half latter we still hadn't heard anything. So by now half the people figure they aren't coming back so they wanted to get their stuff while they had a chance. Now they put out a memo this week on how we are going to work the one shift but at the bottom it says it's subject to change after next weeks way fast forward plan. Now 80% of the people figure we're never coming back so lets start packing up. If they would just tell us what they were doing they could avoid alot of confusion.
  8. This is exagerated like everything else on here. Some did get personal tools and did bring trailers in to get their boxes and friges, micros but I haven't seen any crazy kind of stuff going on. I haven't seen anything leave that wasn't approved. And even if they did, so what, I think we've prolly seen our last day in the plant.
  9. I don't think it's as much getting a new ceo as getting rid of the old one. Anyway get ready to sell, the ships still sinking. :titanic:
  10. We all need to get behind this bill and start calling senators and congressmen and keep trying to push this bill through. Thanks for posting the only sensible thing I've seen on this sight in quite a while.

    NAP

We know you're full of it now. You mentioned useing you're head and Ford in the same sentence.
  13. Who cares if they go bankrupt agter the check clears. :tease:
  14. What are they going to do, shut us down? Or not offer us transfers to another plant that will be closing in another year or two. Do you think a standing ovation for Mcfarlane would have kept us open. The way half the people are around here he's lucky to get out that easy.
  15. OK, I know I can't spell. Atlleast you'll have a backup career as a grammer teacher.
  16. Don't tell anyone else but he's planning a strike at NAP the 2nd week of Sept.
  17. I saw Kimmons on the news last night so he is still alive. He's in DC. I think he's planning a strick at NAP. I think it's going to start the 2nd week of Sept.
  18. I haven't seen them because I've been working. They've been traveling the globe trying to help keep us open.
  19. I wouldn't worry. Take the buyout and move to a state with decent weather.
  20. I believe him, atleast about nap.
  21. Since we are only working 1 or 2 weeks a month it shouldn't increase your workload very much.
  22. Yes he is. Best of to luck to him and family and the rogaine.
  23. Congrats to you guys for getting one of our old bosses. He's was a real asset to nap. Watch at the gate for his shipment of rogaine.
  24. JAN. sounds optimistic to me. I don't think they need us today. Bring on the buyouts.
