in my 2012 Focus Titanium it doesn't have any "keys" just the key FOB.... so why does mine have a key slot in the driver's side door? Did I get the wrong handle installed by the factory? Or am I supposed to have a traditional key as backup? I can't think of any other reason why I'd have a key entry in my door. Can anyone shed some light on this? (Preferably someone who works at the Focus assembly plant) Thanks!

Only thing I can tell you is that we start regular production of the TC in January. Typically with every new lauch it takes a couple of weeks to start shipping as they have to be aproved first. Check with your local dealer they should be able to provide you with more details.

You don't have to have a ford.com email address to post on here. I don't know about where you work, but there are at least a thousand FORD employees at my plant that don't have ford email. Don't need Ford email to put parts on cars.....

WHEN St.T CLOSES???? Are you smoking crack? They just spend tonnes of money to move the Lincoln Towncar to our plant. Ford is really happy with our progress on the launch so far. St Thomas is going NOWHERE.
