starting to rethink diesel concept, since diesel fuel is pushing 2.70 a gallon in my area. regular gas is 2.15 have a diesel since 1996, but diesel fuel is getting expense for the rattle option !

looked at lincoln.com, but they only have 07navi incentives.......no 06 information......... any ideas ?

have only seen 1 07 navi on the road in my travels......i commute 120 miles a day...friday after t day trip from jersey to s carolina..........and didnt see one..... local dealer still has 5 , 06 's......but all 2nd row buckets....if pewter one had 2nd row bench i d get it..... they offered it to me for 15k off sticker a month ago and it still sits..........

all i can say is get in touch with lemonlaw.com, they ll handle a breach of warranty suit also.......my van was out of lemonlaw status in new jersey, but was covered by breach of warranty......you ll get some pain and suffering cash aka diminished value cash..... imo, go to another dealer, stop wasting time trying to contact ford, and call lemonlaw.com...... downside is you ll need to keep truck until settled.... even if truck is fixed at 2nd dealer, you ll still benefit from lemonlaw.com guys.....if they handle your state..i m sure they could recommend someone if they dont. good luck !

the 5.4 in the exped i feel was a better setup than a standard yukon....the 5.3? was a little doggy....5.4 very spirited, but the 6.2 in the denali, oh baby.....

drove xlt , eb, and a limited now.......xlt ext looks pretty much the same....interior cloth.....little more plain trim package.... limited had electronic suspension package......like ride even better than eb version.... local dealer with eb will blow out with xplan, other dealer said sticker, less ford s promo.....also found a extra 500 bucks program code 32222, dont now if national or just local or previous ford owners? but will work for me on any ford with xplan. i m holding out till dec 1, to see if gm better s the yukon deal..if not, back to a exped or left over navi for me.

you have a good question, my local dealer says ford is releasing slowing to be sure it s right....another dealer not far away says they're selling fast , as soon as they hit the lot....but i pass almost daily and never see but 1 or 2...... navigators are starting to drip in finally....but maybe 1 or 2 per dealer. local lincoln dealer still has 4 , yes 4 06 navigators....and said he aint ordering 07 s till 06 s are gone.......they all have 11/05 and 12/05 date s on the stickers i m actually thinking of an 06 navi, dealer said 15k off sticker price.....would be my 4th since 1998. meanwhile, most gmc dealers have at least 12 07 yukons, xl, and denali s....... go figure

gotta say , very impressed with the ride, very quite, & no drivetrain noise. was a eb version loaded up, black/camel int, except for the electronic ride/level control. quoted 680/month, 36 month ford lease, 15k per year, about 800 upfront bucks. like the fold flat seats, creates a level cargo area. honestly, the eb test drive making decision is tuff on yukonxl now. gm dealer right up the road from ford dealer, so figured test drive both on same day... have a denali version for a extended test drive for today, dealer said pick one out then put dealer plate on it and said see ya tomorrow nite.......

for the extra cost upfront plus the high maintenance costs, on a 6.0 psd, it should last 500,000 miles. not much reason to buy diesel, especially since reg unleaded near me is 1.84, while cheapest diesel is 2.34 i ve seen a few e series with the 5.4 s roll 400k and run like tops. guys delivering to plant. asked last guy why not diesel, said, costs too much up front and fuel costs are more.

lack of advertising can t help..... people looking for full size suv are still headed over to gm. was at gmc dealer about month ago looking at yukonxl s , had about 30 of them, went thru parking lot this past friday and there all gone ! except for a few yukons. cadillac dealer next door had about 20 plus escalades, down to about 4 or 5. local ford dealers had only one or two come in so far......still sitting on lot......

was at lincoln dealer yesterday, said order banks are open for extended version navigators. reg 07 navi s seem also to be stuck in production. he only had 1 07, with 15 ordered for customers with lease s ending with no word on what the hold up is.

i thought navi engines were the 4 valve design 5.4 ? ? my 03 navi almost always ran on reg. got better mpg, little less power, but cost less to fill up also ! !

looks like this didnt sell, 900 off sticker , no wonder. gotta say the expedition looks much better than a navigator now, i like the interior, but, doesnt the exterior design looks explorer like? or is it me ?

driving 600-800 miles a week, at 2 bucks a gallon, yeah , it adds up to the truck payment per month. had a gm dealer offer me his employee pricing on an 07 yukon denali, asked lincoln dealer if they d match on 07 navi and they said invoice less hold back..... guess they re little more desperate to sell the suv s in my area. ?

congrats on the arrival.........only 2100 off sticker ? i know it s a new launch, but thats going to help slow sales... start at stealer invoice and the dealer s still making 1500 bucks or so on dealer holdback. i dont think they ll be waiting lists for vehicles that get 15,16 mpg with gas hovering at 2 bucks a gallon.

in over my head :shrug: would be used to replace 03 navigator lease i had.. why lease u ask, why buy ? i bought the van and regret that bigtime, i m stuck with a pos psd van that has no resale value, a 37k sticker van with trade values at 15k 2 1/2 years later with only 32k on odo.... had it been leased, problems would be fords again in 36months rather than mine.

great, something the dealer needs to inspect, there s a comforting thought ! imo , the holdback on shipping might be mostly due to high inventory levels at the dealers of 06 s. chevy and gmc dealers in my area are loaded with suburbans and yukons...... got a price on a loaded yukon xl, except navigation, for 675/month 39 month gmc lease, sign and drive 1st month payment and mv... very temping.

what i find funny is bidding is at 560 dollars with only 12 hours to go or so..... the grille does look better without the top chrome , but the painted filler piece doesnt look that great either.. went to look at one locally , but owner of dealership had it for the weekend

given the problems with my e350 with 6.0 psd, the selling dealers diesel service writer finally gave up the real reason they didnt fix my van, was bad turbo...... he said, he could nt afford to tie up lift for 3 day s for me since he has fleet account s ? i laughed and walked out......later this summer returning to show all my new 06GMC sierre dmax.... i bought 3 van s from them since '99 , and sent 11 referals in ....and who knows how many of them bought more cars or sent in friends. now have a 07 yukon xl on order. gotta change my handle to donewithfordsfornow this will be first time i m fordless since started driving. 29 years ago. imo ford = :titanic:

visited the lincoln dealer last nite, miss my 03 navi, thinking to replace with a 06 before the 07 puts navi outta business. anyway, saw a great new to me color, had metallic sparkle to it.....cashmere ? extra 400 something bucks? but nice anyone with that color ? ultimate equipped 06 navis are scarse, not too many left talking with salesman, he sold 2 now to people who have 04 05 s, they wanted extra one as they said they d never buy an 07...and hopefully lincoln steers away from the new ext design before they need another.
