He already ran in the last municipal election for his ward, and lost. He didn't bother to step down or take a vacation from is Union position while campaigning, so how much time and energy did he spend taking care of our in plant concerns during that time....I'm still waiting for help from him and all he does is giggle and mention he's going to Port Elgin again This is a guy who never intends to work on the line again and will do anything to ensure it.

I agree. I think our 'webmaster' has his hands in too many cookie jars...except for the one where he should be working on the line steady days . The 707 website is a joke, as is the 707 reporter that the same guy is head of. All we see in the reporter is self-serving columns and letters to the editor proclaiming how great our union reps are and sports seem to be the most important issues in each 707 Reporter. How many columns do we really need in the Reporter? Seems every little drivel of info is tossed into it. Strange that no union reps or basically anyone else has commented on this. I just stumbled across it. Anyone that has the time and thinks something should be done about this bullshit our leadership is pulling should come out to the membership meeting this Sunday. Many questions and no real answers to date. Everyone should ask their union rep (if they showed up) how they voted on this subject. Our local is losing money every month and the last thing we should do is toss $$$ to the NATIONAL!

20" are actually slower than 18 or 17's, but they do look better.

The last decade of Rememberance Day events I have gone to have not been shown much support as few people show up, especially when it rains! Nope. The jobs get redistributed which equals more manpower. The opposite of what happened when we slowed the line down and we were given more work with less manpower. It all evens out.

Don't listen or read Mcoolman. He only knows what others want him to think he knows. Toronto?? Maybe to Brantford or Hamilton, but none could afford anywhere close to TO, not even Oakville (where this plant is btw).
