  1. I don't think that 7/18 is an error. Read some of Kzinti's post in the '06 section - I think it means that they're lining up parts for your car and the expected availability date is 7/18/06.
  2. I'm thinging you'll get it sooner because I'm sure the truck drivers want to take a long holiday weekend. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!
  3. My car with premier trim arrived today so things are moving. The ERL said the 26th and she was right. Check www.themustangsource.com for pics that my brother shot of the interior - it's just a low res camera phone pic but you can see that the premier trim includes the bright shift trim ring and shift knob. I was stuck in an airport on my way to Germany today otherwise I would have had the car home now. The trip ended up getting cancelled so I'm picking up the car tomorrow at 10am. More pics to follow tomorrow!
  4. Chip, I've got the same message! Customer relations was able to tell me that it looked like I would be shipped yesterday via convoy. It looks like ours will be among the first premier trim cars to arrive!
  5. Rats!!!! My ETA according to the ERL is now moved to week of July 4th!
  6. It's correct, mine keeps saying as of "June 14th". I called today and spoke to someone who verified that I'm being build next week with an ETA of June 28th. I'm hoping that it comes in early, of course!
  7. Mine's the same! I just got moved this week from "scheduled" week of June 12th to "locked in for production week of June 12th, with ETA to dealer week of June 28th". While that's great news, the bad part is that I'm going to be in Germany the week that the car arrives, so what do I do? Do I leave the car there and risk not being able to pick it up before the 4th of July holiday, or do I let my wife sign the papers and bring it home???
  8. I had made a change to add the 64W 18" polished bullits several weeks ago. Dealer told me it "took" but last Friday I found out that they evidently did it wrong. So, long story short, I fixed the problem myself and confirmed on Tues of this week that the wheels were added....then I went from "temp delay" to no status at all. Well, it looks like everything is good now because I also got set up for build the week of June 12th!!! In case it matters, my car is torch red. I heard they build them in batches by color but I don't know if that's true or not. I'm hoping to have the car by the 4th of July!
  9. Not me, I'm still in temp hold and I can't get any VOPC status. I provide all the data and it tries to transfer me to any analyst instead. Anyone else having this problem?
  10. The '07 GT vert that I have on order will be my fourth new V-8 mustang in a row and I have NEVER gotten anywhere near the kind of individual attention and customer support that Kzinti provided. I really like my dealer, but they're frankly operating in the dark ages. I asked them to make a change to my order a few weeks ago; they assured me it was done. Guess what? It wasn't, and if it weren't for Kzinti, I wouldn't have known. The dealers just don't know how to access the info and frankly I don't think they're really all that interested in doing it. Like most of the people on this and other Ford sites, I know more about the vehicle than the dealers do. Instead of thanking us, they think of customers like me as a pain in the *ss instead of a loyal and devoted fan. Kzinti gave me, and everyone else on BON, the power to know what was factual info and what was just dealer BS. He provided a service that no one else had or could ever do again, and he did it cheerfully, humorously, and of his own good will. Ford is losing a great, great asset by silencing him. Look at the vehicle tracking thread and all the questions, answers and praise he received. Where was the harm in what he was doing? What, he spent an hour a day researching and answering questions? Big deal. Do you work all day, non-stop? BRING KZINTI BACK!
  11. I also want to throw my sincere thanks into the ring as well. I really appreciate everything you did, but I suspected that it wouldn't last. Good luck to you!
  12. Mr. K, according to the ERL, I'm still in a temporary delay awaiting production. I know others are being scheduled for build during the week of June 5th, but my status hasn't been updated since 4/21. Should I be concerned? I had added 64W polished bullits to my order a few weeks ago - the dealer tells me they should make it - but according to your check last week they didn't. Do you think that could be the hold up? At this point I just want to get the order moving so I can have the car for early summer. Thanks, Bob 1ZVHT85H875200464
  13. Mr. K, can you tell yet if the 64W polished bullits made it to my order? Thanks very much for the personal service here - it's extraordinary and very much appreciated. And just to give you a chuckle - did you know this will be my fourth new V-8 Mustang in a row? My beautiful wife tried to convince me to buy a BMW 3 series or Porsche Boxster instead, but I said "No thanks". When my boss heard that, his reply was: "Will you divorce that girl so I can marry her?!" 1ZVHT85H875200464
