Was just wondering if your local is telling you that DTP will be the only plant producing F-150's when you return to work in September? I've seen a lot of talk about it in some of the other topics on here and was just wondering if it's speculation or if it's something your local has said to be true? Thanks.

If you're expecting 12 weeks off between now and September, does that mean they're moving the launch of the 2009 back? You'd think they'd want to fill the dealership lots and showrooms with the new model before talking about any down time. I personally don't think anything major will happen at an F-150 plant until they can see how the new truck sells. You never know, it may sell like crazy. Even with the high gas.

So you're saying that not only will F-150 production at KCAP be completely stopped, but also that DTP will be retooled to run regular cabs? Don't know if that rumor is true or where you heard it, but you come off as being quite thrilled about it. I guess the thought of 2000 people being laid off must make you happy.

Does anyone know what the Claycomo buyout number is up to so far? When is the last day to sign up? Thanks.
