LAP- Heard that Bill and Mark will be coming to LAP Sept. 18th to announce that LAP will not close but build a Fairline (sp??) and a Crown Vic.

Just my 2 cents worth.... on a 40 hour work week= about $53,000, not $65,000 the UAW just announced they would "help" Ford out. Can you say, PAY CUT. Insurance should go up on our next contract due to the UAW having No leverage. Everyone will have to make the choice that is best for them. Young people, I would take the education buyout, find you something you enjoy doing. B)

I will let you in on a secret, If I help you buy a house in KY, I do not make my money from you. I make it from the seller. My name is Pat Watkins and I am a fellow Union Brother looking to help anyone thinking of coming to either LAP or KTP. I am a realtor that is looking to help make the transition easier. I know there are alot of rumors going around. I work at LAP and I have heard that there will be about 90 buy-outs within a month then another 300 by Aug.
