  1. LAP- Heard that Bill and Mark will be coming to LAP Sept. 18th to announce that LAP will not close but build a Fairline (sp??) and a Crown Vic.
  2. Just my 2 cents worth.... on a 40 hour work week= about $53,000, not $65,000 the UAW just announced they would "help" Ford out. Can you say, PAY CUT. Insurance should go up on our next contract due to the UAW having No leverage. Everyone will have to make the choice that is best for them. Young people, I would take the education buyout, find you something you enjoy doing. B)

  4. I will let you in on a secret, If I help you buy a house in KY, I do not make my money from you. I make it from the seller. If I steer you towards a house that I know you can't afford, then I might be out to make a buck. If you want to use my services, I will do the best I can to help you. I am just trying to make the transition from Atlanta to KY a bit easier. If you think I'm out to make a buck, then don't use my services. I thought I would offer the help from a union brother to another.
  5. My name is Pat Watkins and I am a fellow Union Brother looking to help anyone thinking of coming to either LAP or KTP. I am a realtor that is looking to help make the transition easier. I know there are alot of rumors going around. I work at LAP and I have heard that there will be about 90 buy-outs within a month then another 300 by Aug. When we thought SLAPers were coming to LAP, I was working with about 14 people and they ended up going to KCAP. But they were prepared. I have access to loan originators and home inspectors.
