The CEO of Nissian/Renualt is brilliant and I think has the talent to turn this company around. He did it twice allready it looks goods to me.

Skilled trades are offered first

Take it you can take that money and go to school or work for yourself you might never make it to ten years and get nothing and be on the street. There are more opportunities for you than you think. If Ford falls on hard times again you will be laid off with nothing in hand. If you do not take it you better get involved with the school program that they offer right now, but that is hard and takes a much longer time. If I were you I would take it.

I hope that the Union dosen't block it

It seems taht the locals are blocking them the company offered250 butouts 414 signed up the RUMOR is that the local is blocking the extra people for the buyout beacuse there ARE concerned with their head count. If that is true then the Union is shoothing itself in the foot. There are many people that work at plants that are closing i.e. Norfolk, Wixom, and all of the AHG plants. These are memberas that would gladly take theese jobs and support the union with more vigor than the ones thar not satisfied and want to leave.

At the axle plant last month they offered 250 buyouts 414 signed up they are not allowing the extra people to take the buyout. However, the local is trying th secure the extra for us that signed up.
