  1. Thanks guys for your response. Wealth of knowledge in here ;o)
  2. Hello, I just bought a used 2002 Ford Ranger fx4 offroad (awesome truck, Private sale). My cluster brake light doesn't light up when the car is started, or when you push the park brake in. I also noticed that at night when you turn the lights on, the fuel guage light doesn't illuminate as well. My question is "could it be a brake problem, or a fuse problem, or just a bulb problem"? I was wondering if anyone knows what this might be? Thank You K.
  3. I would like to respond as well to the dilemma at the STAP. I believe our Junior member isn't upset with the employees who have gained their seniority with their blood, sweat and tears. I think he is referring to the ones who haven't done a damn thing the whole entire time they have worked at the plant. I think a good example of this is someone who I believe works on the B shift IP line (very good chance everyone knows who I am talking about). He Hasn't done a damn thing for the company or anyone else for that matter, He is all about himself and what he can gain from doing the least amount of work. It is guys like this useless SOB that it is unfortunate that the company can't just get rid of types like this, instead of the younger guys who are more than willing to build the best car possible, and not whine and complain every step of the way! Just my two cents ;o)
  4. I realize that the overseers of everything safe in an automobile, want everyone to drive with two hands on the steering wheel. I personally know that in the real world the only people that do that, are mothers in minivans. I actually think I drive worse with two hands on the wheel, because the start to conflict with each other. That being said, build a shifter (manual of automatic) that has all the window and lock controls on it. It doesn't have to be bulky, it could be designed totally ergonomically for your right hand. I hate reaching over to do down the window or unlock the doors, I pretty much always have my hand on my shifter (lol). So why not make it more practical. (and I don't mean put it on the console beside the shifter like in previous models). Also make a roof door that opens slightly on each side when the doors are open to give more head room to get in and out of the car. Would be great for the elderly and anyone who has ever had a back injury and has tried to get into a car (ouuuuch!). Also for those of us who time to time smash our heads on the roof getting in or out!. Just my two cents. Will be more later when I feel like typing again!
  5. The funny thing is, some guys work a hundred times better when they are watching something they enjoy. It makes them happier, more comfortable, and sometimes they work harder, because they don't want to screw up and have there TV taken away!! I think it is actually better to have, makes people discuss and converse more, sometimes causes employees to laugh with each other, and not over hourly, or salaried employees getting in trouble. I know that televisions in a plant sounds incredible, but I truly believe that the good of the TV totally outweighs the bad of the Stigma!
