  1. Keep it the way it is. In my plant I would gain about 15 spots in seniority by using my production date, but as one post earlier states, I knew what I was going into when I signed up for my apprenticeship Also, why should I jump over someone with more experience than me? That person has earned their right to be here ahead of me. Again, they signed up with the same rules in place. Just my opinion.
  2. We started it about 2 years ago to listen to what our trades were telling us and to try to make some things right. Through a lot of road blocks and some dedicated people who took no an answer, we made some inroads. As soon as we changed our plant manager and LMM, it did not fit their bill, so now it is being shut down. As with any program, you need the top to do the right thing, and as per the usual, management did not want to be accountable. The amasing thing about any program that we have, the hourly try harder than the management that put it in place. It is a shame when you have the people doing the right things and the rug is pulled from underneath you!
  3. Is FTPM-R still alive in your plant? After 2 years it appears that management is trying their best to kill it off. There is no management pushing the process anymore. Our LMM refuses to go to the meetings that his postion is champion for. So much for management listening to the real issues in the plant.
  4. I'm glad that the news was out for the public to hear, but if it were us, it would be the first story. The media is very biased in reporting!!!!!
