  1. I just can't believe some fellow UAW members up in Michigan or any other facilitys. People need to just keep their mouth shut to the media and leave all the talking to the people that we pay to do it!! Especially when you don't know what the hell your talking about. Let our union dues, due what there suppose to do. It's people like that, that give us a bad rap!! It's BS!!
  2. JPD2 you just hit the nail right on the head with that statement!!!!!! It's the same here in Memphis, I guess all that I can do is hope for the best down here!! With 17000 plus trying for 1800 jobs in Louisville, it dosen't look good for any of us who would like to transfer there. All I can do is wish the 17000 people good luck on getting a good job!!
  3. Wondering why that the job postings for LAP and KTP were not posted at all ford facilities?? I know that there are a few people in Memphis that would sign up in a heart beat!!! Just wondering who has the POWER to decide??
  4. I work at Sheldon Road Plant and we have a little over 100 people leaving on the April 23 for Dearborn. They have been bringing 50-60 people in per week for training. We probably have 200 plus new hires and they are still bringing in new people, I think another 50 people this week.
  5. I am looking for information on property around the KTP or LAP plant. Any information would be appreciated. Thanks Sam
  6. Thanks Jeremy if I do get the flowback option to come down there I will definately look you up for the help. If possible, do you have any realestate listings or know where I can go to look at some property down there on the web? If so email me please, sammylit@comcast.net. Thanks again Sam
  7. 37 years old with 14 years service hoping to transfer to KTP OR Louisville but then again any place south as long as I still have a job at Ford. Funny huh but it is all I know!!! 2nd generation.
  8. Thanks for the info, I knew you guys have been laid off. My brother in law works on the truck line here in Michigan at the climate controls plant in Plymouth and if I not mistaken this is his 3rd week off. But thanks for the info.
  9. Can anyone tell me what the buyout is looking like down that way? I guess what I would like to know is how many workers are there and about how many are signed or signing up for the buyout? I live in Michigan and will be putting Louisville Zone for my first pick. I have Oct 1992 seniority and was curious. Thanks and any information would be great! Sam
  10. I am in Michigan and will be putting Kentucky truck as my #1 pick. I have October 1992 sen. Can anyone let me know how the atmosphere is down your way?
