  1. I am sure that all that needs to be revealed will be soon....
  2. Maybe your right. Dave being the good union person he is probably did take care of this. My question is , at what cost to the membership?
  3. Yes you are a slug and we are glad to see you go!
  4. I heard the same thing. He has some health issues that popped up after the company busted him. I am talking about the time off prior to the allegded incident. You do bring up a good point though, why has the company been dragging it feet on the investigation? Maybe the company likes Steve and want him to run in the upcoming election. I know if it were you or me, we would have been fired by now.. Think about it.
  5. Oh you can thank him after I told you the same thing.. You are in fact a whiner. Learn what the contract says and maybe you won't waste our time in the future....
  6. By the sounds of it you are management, so why don't you just ask in a staff meeting when shut down is.. If you are in fact a UAW member, than please read you contract again and stop you useless whining... :happy feet:
  7. "Nobody is loved by all, and even fewer are loved by me!" Listen, if Steve can get out from under the shadow of being called a thief and convince people that he will come to work I think he may have a chance. As for Miss. Potatoe, well she has quite a bit more baggage to contend with. Not being at work, being at home and getting calls through her radio, or getting pulled up to the local more often than not.. Thank God her alternate comes to work!
  8. Hey Winer! Why don't you take a minute to read the National agreeement in regards to shut down notification and not waste our time posting this shit. If you need to be sure of a specific time for reseverations, you can schedule vacation time to cover until the company announces a date which has to be done by April.
  9. Dog. You are a douche! You sound like an 11 year old girl in love for the first time. If Steve is so fucking good, than he should have no problem winning. I really don't see it that way! I believe when the hate letters start flying, the entire plant will know the truth about this computer scam. When the company gets around to finishing the investigation, and as unfortunate as it may be, I believe Steve is going to do some serious "home Time". This will be the nail in the coffin for B.C. But that won't change the fact that he will run for B.C. because I hear that he can't take his own district and the people want Rudy to run. I have heard that you on the other hand, are doing a good job and that the people like you. I don't believe what "ru4real" said about you hanging on to Steve D's coatails. You are a new Rep and it takes time to learn the job. Keep getting help from any source you need to and protect the members in your district. :shades:
  10. Has anybody heard who will be running in the upcoming election? There have been a few names tossed around in Trim and final. I have heard that Tony BONDY is going to run for chairman and Larry Simmons is running for bargaining rep. Steve Degregorio' name has been out there but we will have to see how his situation plays out before he can be considered an option. What have you heard?
  11. D-pain, reading through the posts in this thread I do see what you meen about ellu369 trying to implicate that management gave him a "wink and a nod". People have to start owning up to the things they do. A union rep should know better then to think taking a computer from one part of the plant to another isn't wrong. By the looks of the union office, all the reps have computers so the question that should be asked is why would he want another. Another good question is, if in fact the company feels that they have the goods on this rep why are they not doing anything. The answer has already been touched on in a previous post. Why would the company be in a hurry to throw somebody out for a short period of time when they can use his touchy situation to flex on the chairman. People, this is union 101 shit. If this rep did take something, then good luck at your next job! Fuck the union if it is found that he stole from the company and they try to support him. Remember elections are right around the corner...
  12. Good Idea "dumbkin"! Like Bob gives a F_ck! He is still resting after agreeing to the two tier wage scale for the Production workers. You could always move to the AAI plant by stepping down from the trades. Oh, but you won't do that will you? Your head has been filled with shit as you and your trades buddies marvel how smart you are for going to school for a couple of years to become glorified "Grease Monkeys". I am sure that the international will get to the trades soon enough. The bell is tolling in the background ding, ding. They will tell you that it is to remain competive. They will tell you it is for long term viability, but mark my words, soon enough they will outsource all the trades... Good Luck! Oh and once again, :happy feet:
  13. Why in Gods good name would we want to take outside trades in our plant? It is bad enough that the trades we have are lazy, I heard that you Ford trades are even lazier. Well, No thanks! We will keep putting our real workers through the apprenticeship program to insure quality workers. And by the way, you are right! It is local politics keeping you out and will continue to do so! :happy feet:
  14. Cool! Fuck the UAW. Just turn in your union card to your local and move down south. You wont be missed and there are plenty of people ready to take your place. I see you have a computer, maybe a high speed conection? Would this be by virtue of the UAW? I think so. Move, quit, take a buyout or just die. Once again you will not be missed!
  15. AAI's Schedule: 6 days 10 hours Double Time and a half being paid for breaks (Don't tell dearborn, they are all to stupid to catch on) Time and a half for working thru lunch Hope your plant is doing well! PS: AAI was never on unlimited overtime. Get your facts straight! Oh by the way the information above is a lie and for entertainment purposes only.
  16. All of you people that don't know the benefits of having a convention in Las Vegas are pretty 'f'ed up. Anyway, thanks to weak ass members like you, there are not enough union hotels in Mi to support a covention of the international union. When the end comes to the UAW and you are left washing your bosses car to get a vacation day, I wish you and your families "much" adversity for your stupidity! QUIT!
  17. I wish you had a job at Toyota as well. If you have a union card, just drop it off at your local and bolt. "You will not be missed"!
  18. X-buster! Or should I say "Union Buster". You Should not post the weakness of your local union on a site like this. The company reads this stuff and we don't need any help undermining the union. Your local, unless it is in the dark ages, should have a website for this type of information. :stats:
  19. COA stands for "Competitive Operating Agreement" and this type of contract is the most concessionary choice when you compare it to a traditional contract or MOA. Most COA's have some sort of outsourcing attached to it, and if this is not bad enough, it also allows the company to remain competitive by opening the local contract when sales slump. MOA stands for "Modern Operating Agreement" which is most commonly associated with a reduction of classifications, usually 2. There are more differences but I have to go!
  20. You need to hook-up with some speeling lessons first!
  21. You left Bitch! So why do you care?
  22. It is obvious that you are not a union rep based on your statement. If you are you have a short memory! Please read the following so you actually know what is expected of a union rep, I believe that all reps have to say "I do" to the following questions; ("Article 39 "Give attention while I read to you the obligation: "Do you hereby pledge on your honor to perform the duties of your respective offices as required by the Constitution of this Union; to bear true and faithful allegiance to the International Union, UNITED AUTOMOBILE, AEROSPACE AND AGRICULTURAL IMPLEMENT WORKERS OF AMERICA (UAW); to the best of your ability and with complete good faith to support, advance and carry out all official policies of the International Union and this Local Union; to deliver all books, papers and other property of the Union that may be in your possession at the end of your term to your successor in office, and at all times conduct yourself as becomes a member of this Union?" Officers respond, "I do." The Installing Officer then says: "Your duties are defined in the laws of the International Union, UNITED AUTOMOBILE, AEROSPACE AND AGRICULTURAL IMPLEMENT WORKERS OF AMERICA (UAW) and in your obligation; should any emergency arise not provided for in these, you are expected to act according to the dictates of common sense, guided by an earnest desire to advance the best interest of the International Union and this Local Union. I trust you will all faithfully perform your duties so that you may gain not only the esteem of your brothers and sisters, but what is of even more importance, the approval of your conscience. "You will now assume your respective stations." ) Well now let's see here. hmmm. Do you hereby pledge on your honor to perform the duties of your respective offices as required by the Constitution of this Union; to bear true and faithful allegiance to the International Union, UNITED AUTOMOBILE, AEROSPACE AND AGRICULTURAL IMPLEMENT WORKERS OF AMERICA (UAW); to the best of your ability and with complete good faith to support, advance and carry out all official policies of the International Union and this Local Union; Dynex, What do you have to say about this.. Seems to me you thought that union reps were unbridled by any obligation to the union. Wrong! Jeff, by virtue of his actions has embarrassed the UAW and has failed to live up to the first part of the oath he took. Whats that? silence? Ithought so![/b] Next! "Your duties are defined in the laws of the International Union, UNITED AUTOMOBILE, AEROSPACE AND AGRICULTURAL IMPLEMENT WORKERS OF AMERICA (UAW) and in your obligation; should any emergency arise not provided for in these, you are expected to act according to the dictates of common sense, guided by an earnest desire to advance the best interest of the International Union and this Local Union. I trust you will all faithfully perform your duties so that you may gain not only the esteem of your brothers and sisters, but what is of even more importance, the approval of your conscience. Once again, you are wrong! Seems to me by the statement above this is saying that in the in the event of an emergency a union rep is to up hold the standard that is set forth in the uaw constituton with an expectation to act on the uaws behalf with dignity. Oh shit! well that didn't happen. Once again we see a failure to up hold an oath that Jeff took. It always cracks me up when people in the union think there the only ones that can read the contracts. Dynex, you are a very misinformed person so sit the fuck down and shut the fuck up! And next time you come at me , come with more than your dick in you hand and an opinion. Pleezzz! By the way pussbag, Jeff has represented me because that is his fuckin job just like it is my job to put parts on the car.. "What was that I said? Oh yeah, sit the fuck down?" P.S. I go to church on sundays so I can't make the union meetings, but thanks anyway.
  23. Well lucky us! Jeff has decided to stay and fight the "good fight". Isn't this just what we need? A self promoting pile of simpering goo! Jeff, i hope that you come back in a few months and read your posts so you can see how pathetic you sound. Cry, cry, cry. The organization that you swore an oath to support, made a decsion that may not fit in your little plans and you come to this fourm and blast them. This shows a complete lack of committment to the organization that you serve as well a weakness in you character. I think it would be a good idea to take some of the posts on this web site and circulate them in our area. Don't you? I think it would be good for the people that you have called loads, gimps and medical misfits to understand how you feel about them so they can cast an informed ballot next election. Now don't thank me in advance brother Vagina, I will make sure that these posts hit the floor. And, by the way thanks for making it so obvious as to who "fishing guy" really is, going to make it hard to deny that you posted this crap. "How I long for the old days when a "Rep" like you would be forced off the road and beaten properly!" :slap: Sanitary Napkin please, cleanup on aisle 3!
  24. :slap: Jeff, I can't believe that you are such a fuc_in pussy! I hope that your balls drop before you have a chance to retire. Buck up and roll with the changes. Just take the fuc_in buy-out! I am sure that your District will be better off. You have decsision to make , just make it. I knoqw some of the reps in the office and you are not one of the strong ones. As a matter of fact you are the weakest right after your bald buddy Ty. Good Luck you "wet vagina"
  25. Yep! it's the end. I wouldn't go to work tommo :slap: rrow.
