Vol 4 page 116 and 117 read entire language. You can be forced to go in zone that's all I was stating.

Go to a dealership where the service department is UAW. There is more pride with the techs then at other dealers.

AAI has been UAW from day 1 Bro. They had a Mazda contract. ( which had some good shit in it) They didn't move under ford untill like 97 or something like that.

Old language allowed you to pass up inzone up to 2 times but you had to take the 3rd. New language if another plant is offered you have to take it if it is in zone.

Not sure on trades I just heard the total number. I know AAI doesn't have many trades anyways.

I live in the woodhaven area. Althought I don't have any kids the area is very nice and not to much crime. Depending on what plant you end up at you want to try and stay out of Wayne County Taxes are very high. Trust me I learned the hard way. BUt it is a nice area for raising children.

AAI will need people, they have 700 plus buyouts. As of last month they wanted to reduce a little over 400. There would have to be some back fill unless they are going to allow TPT or TFT. Who knows with that place.

Ok, so maybe it was said but the person I checked with that was at Sub 2 didn't hear that. Bottom line the agreement for the buyouts does not say that Reps have to go 1st if not they have to step out of their position. It's dirty i'm telling ya. In my opnion they should help keep the reps longer to help out the mess that's going on in the plant. I mean if it's a good rep like fishing guy is!!!!

It wasn't announced at Sub 2 Fish. I checked into it. Other plants that were there did not hear it nor did they go back and tell the reps that. So there is some shit in the game that I think you should look into. Besides as a Rep you should have a copy of the agreement right? Well where does it say that? Ok it doesn't so they can't force you. All i'm saying is look into it man, Look into the shit man i'm telling you it's dirty.

fishiguy I hear what your saying and thank you for sharing your thoughts. I agree with a lot of what you have said. But have you know it doesn't matter what your rels date is, or if you go back to the floor bottom line is you took the buy out so no matter what you let down the members that elected you that are choosing to stay. it doesn't matter when you go. Also, I suggest you look into what you were told about Sub 2 and make sure that isn't just comming from our chairman who could be influanced by someone in that room for political gain. Make some phone calls, tell him to show you in the agreement where it says that shit. Otherwise tell him to stick it. Sounds to me like it could be political I hear we have 3 or 4 reps that have signed up. That's 3 or 4 open spots for his friends to get elected. I'm just throwing some ideas out there. I know you well, I worked in your area for a while. I just hate for you to give up hope or something when what you were told is not in the agreement. Something sounds funny.... He can't make you resign man.... Did anyone from other plants out of sub 2 get told that? Or just AAI? Cause if it's just AAI then it is our local leadership selling you out.
