  1. I retired last May.I know I earned profit share during this time.does anyone know how it will be paid a check or direct deposit.

What RTW will do is actually make this union responsive to workers.Imagine a union that knows workers will stop paying dues and quit if they see no benefit from belonging to a company union..Imagine a union that works for its members and not the corporations.As to Snyder killing the unions thats bullshit.the UAW began it's slow suicide the first time it ever opened a contract to make concessions.The death march continued with a two tier wage and the suicide was completed with the push for Proposal 2.The defeat of Proposal 2 showed Snyder how little support unions have and how much power he now had if the union had not pushed this proposal Snyder would have been left guessing as to the amount of his support.The RTW legislation will allow the worker to say do something for me or you can't have my money since this product is broken.UAW members may actually demand they select by vote their top leadership instead of having the company followership now at the top.

When the company makes a bullshit statement that all members of Ford will make an equal sacrifice and does not live up to this statement it owes us what was promised a fair compensation for what was given up.Maybe you think you are worthless enough to be owed nothing I think you may be right about your own worthless worth..The rest of us are owed something we are worth more than you.We are owed more than you.

There is no reason for the secrecy in a greivence procedure.If indeed this is not a fraud we are entiled to know what evidance was presented by whom and how it was rebutted.This may be a fraud since we have no real information.Also there is no reason not to know who the arbitrator is.This has the stink of a UAW Ford lie.We the membership are entitled to know more than we have been told.What did the UAW present to the arbitrator to prove we were treated less fairly than managment?Why is it all we know is a series of meaningless dates that lead to more meaningless dates.

I agree people have the right to buy what they choose.All those posting against foreign prouducts better stop using your computers,stop watching television,throw away your cell phones since most of these prouducts are made in China.Also you should go naked since most clothing is foreign made.Let's start with all UAW offices throw out your computers.copiers,printers,and phones they are not made here.We will go back to the original American method of communication smoke signals and runners.Only one way to win this battle build a better prouduct in the USA.

Job security is an empty promise from a union that cannot deliver real benefits like raises and contracts that actually run full term without concessions.Ford eliminated 45000 jobs since 2006 and you keep talking about keeping jobs.Yes we make a good wage but without a raise that wage shrinks due to inflation without COLA or raises the union has won for you not a stable wage but a constantly shrinking wage.Why do you think they want to raise the wages of second tier but not first tier because eventually at some point in the future all first tier in order to keep working will be forced to the lower tier wage when the company cries poverty again.Do you think you will go on ILO because you ask for a raise .You will go on ILO because of the demand for cars falls or we just can't work for Mexican wages and our jobs head south of the border.Thanks to the weak union now when you go on ILO no jobs bank and your supplemental is limited based on senoirity.General what army do you command sheep who are fleeced by the company and union.

  17. Agree 5000 over 4 years in a contract that seems to offer nothing else is a big NO vote if this were a Ford contract..1250 a year is pathetic.This took 2 months to negotiate also pathetic.

I am tired of being told by multi millionaires to make more sacrifices when they not only sacrificed noting but profited .Also when did promises of jobs become a barginning issue .The company will build what it wants where it wants without a contract.Ford never consulted the UAW when it decided to send jobs to Mexico.Also I am tired of people telling me well we still make 28.00 dollars an hour well that 28.00 dollars is now less than it was the last time we had a raise and it shrinks every month.As for Gary he seems concerned about us the workers unlike Bob King who is always telling us how we need to keep the companies profitable at our expense.
