You can certainly tell who the republicans are. John McCain made a similar remark about Hillary Clinton last October. Also, during a town hall meeting this year someone asked Mr. McCain a question while referring to Hillary Clinton as a "B". Mr McCains response was " Good question ". Make up your mind. It's okay for republicans to say what the hell they want to say, any kind of way they want to say it, and then cry foul when someone says something they don't like. Stop whinning and stick to the issues. Look at the economy and the cost of health care. Look at how many people you know who are willing to work but cannot find a decent paying job with decent health insurance or benefits. "Stick To The Issues".

Thank you for the information. I hope you understood the part about the groundwork or foundation was laid many years before Clinton. You are correct, it was passed under Clinton but there was twelve years of Republican leadership before Clinton. Ross Perot was also correct about the large sucking sound of jobs disappearing. Michigan was the state that bore the brunt of it but NAFTA did not apply the biggest hurt or cause the most pain. Whether any of us want to admit it Ford, GM, and Chrysler got out of the car business and the Japanese took over. Automobiles were being built in America, but not in Michigan. So for this, do not just blame the Democrats or the Republicans, blame the American automakers and the American public. Hell, blame our own UAW members who still support the Japanese by purchasing their Hondas, Toyotas, Nissans, and Lexus vehicles. What is in your driveway? What do your children and grandchildren drive? What do you promote? The bottom line is we all have to share the blame, and high gas prices just advanced what was inevitable. It just so happened that a WAR that our President JUSTIFIED has hurt ALL OF US. We all must move on. We have a WAR to pay for. GOOD LUCK TO ALL OF US. Finance charges are paid with money collected from taxes. Oh, that's why we have such a large deficit. The state of Michigan has to have a balanced budget and yes, I do agree that we have to reduce spending. To those always looking to blame the Governor: When Ford Motor Company makes up their mind, the Governor nor the President of the United States can change it. Supply and Demand. Tooooo much supply. Little demand. The Mayors and Governors of New Jersy, Virginia, Georgia, or Missouri could not save their plants either.
