back up lights come on with my G8 when i remote unlock as well as the headlights and parking lights my reverse lights are pretty bright too.

why is their trunk small? mine is HUGE

OMG no i won't! it weighs more and has less tq im am so tired of hearing that....people seem to forget about one very important engine spec....tq

but IMO it is one of the better American sedans

im ok with the hood and grille(it makes the front look mean) but i agree that the mustang does stand out more....but the biggest problem with the Mustang's looks is one of the Mustang's best points......there are so many of them that the style has kinda become too common to turn heads anymore, sure all these custom and special ones you see in that Autoblog post will still turn heads and i myself still look down Mustang GTs when i see one because i still love the way they look, but a V6 Mustang just does not stand out, yes against a Camcorrd and such but its way too common now a Mustang GT still stands out....IMO

you could add the Solstice to that(even though it has no V8), its a very fun car to drive

hmm.... that's funny, the #1 comment i get is the sexy looks.... (just got it tinted) the GTO on the other hand has a "different" styling....but it is a performer and will have a strong following but with out a doubt the Mustang has the strongest following of any car period.

im totally seeing this movie! there are asain gangs in this movie! finally....lol and they drive supped up civics they better have a badass chase seen where the Torino just demolishes those Civics

quality was not very good because the camera had trouble focusing at night

it was on my short list too.....i was actually really close to get one but......the V8 hit me

the auto in the G8 GTs is a tricky little one there is a trick where you can hold 3rd gear before the trap(because the trans wants to throw it in 4th) and it will give you on average .1 sec better times with a cold car but most people do not know about it and it does take some practice to get it right so there can be driver error on G8 autos

it performs great......its built pretty solid but there are some minor issues exept for maybe the paint check out my review in the Competition Forum theres pictures :shades:

shitty paint if you look on the side skirt right below the driver door(you won't be able to see it in my sig) it is chipping away....i have researched this and it seems that the side skirt(plastic) specificaly on the left side has a paint chip problem and it is not from getting in and out because it is too far back for my shoes to hit it suposedly Pontiac/GM is working on it but they said the same thing about the GTO it is only happenning on the plastic parts such as the body kit....i have a VERY small chip that i noticed on the front bumper....it is very small but its there and it went through the paint supposedly they put a very soft clear coat on the plastic parts it also seems to only be happenning on metallic paints im upset about it but im going to see if the dealer might do something for my any advice from you guys....maybe anohter clear coat

i understand... when i was getting the G8 at the Pontiac/GMC/Buick dealer, i was waiting for them to get some paperwork done and was looking at all the cars in the showroom.....i looked at a Buick sedan(can't remember the name...i want to say LaCrosse) and thought to myself why anyone would pay for this(no offense to you) then i went and took a look at the G5(Cobalt) and thought it was one of the cheapest compacts i have seen, i was not impressed by the Denali interiors either..... the only other car there that had some good quality would have had to been the Vibe(Matrix) it has some good quality and feel but was pretty ugly the G8 was the only reason i went to a GM dealership at all....no other car from them really has me interested...although i wouldn't mind taking a ride in the new Cobalt SS, but would never buy one because its so cheap

well the focus mainly had drivetrain problems.... but i will bring it into the dealer when they get my tag(taking them forever) and i will tell them about all the problems....the button(which works just fine now) and the shaking will be under warranty but i might have to fight a little with the paint problem

honestly i saw it coming right after gas spiked and i was positive it would happen when the market fell but i was not expecting a word this soon i guess i might have a cult car because i doubt chevy will get one.....i also believe the Camaro will die around the time the G8 is phased out
