  1. My wifes Milan was built way before Feb of 07. We took delivery in Nov 06. It has both the MP# jack in the console and the fold flat seat.
  2. I have a AWD Milan..Drove in 2 major ice storms this season. Car got me home safe and sound with ease. But I did drive alot slower than normal. Very happy so far with the performance of the AWD system. As with any other car it would get better with dedicated winter tires.
  3. As a Milan owner I must chime in on this debate. I'm not going to sprew test numbers, sales figures, comparison test results here, and I'll explain why. First I feel real sorry for the people who sit and read these magazines and use them as the holy grail of car buying. Nothing beats honest leg work and effort visiting dealerships, taking test drives, and deciding what car is best for you. There is no way that i'm going to take the advice of some journalist (who by the way gets paid by these manufacturers in the form of advertising) just because he thinks he knows whats best for everyone. Who cares the Camry has 40+ more horsepower? My Milan cruises nicely at 70MPH, accelerates onto the highway safely. I don't drag race the thing. I never pulled up to a red light and had a Camry owner try and run me. Big horsepower numbers are way overrated in this class. What , I also didn't do was drive down my block, look into my neighbors driveways and decide what car was right for me. We live in a me too society, I could care less what my neighbors think. I don't have to be the latest on the block with a new Camry or Accord to fit in. I have a mind of my own. Now why did I buy a Milan? No it's not because I have a Mustang and I'm some big Ford enthuisist. I like I said earlier went dealership to dealership, checking pricing and content, sitting in the things, test drives, all the normal things one should do while purchasing a car. But the differance was I went to these dealerships with a different attitude then most. Instead of trying to compare the Fusion/Milan to the Accord/Camry I used the ford twins as the Bar. Meaning the Honda and Toyota had to prove themselves to me. They had to prove to me that their product was so much better to justify paying thousands more for their product. In my opinion and only my opinion, they did not. For hair less that $25,000. I got a nicely equiped car. With everything I like, PW, PW, Sat, CD, MP3 radio, Leather, tons of storage, nice trunk space, and most importantly AWD which was the most important for me. Which Accord/Camry doesn't even offer. So in my opinion the Fusion and Milan are a success. But no need to respond with test results, skidpad numbers, sales figures because it's my money and I'm the only person that counts. Peace.
