  1. Naw. Check out rockauto.com. They have good prices on shocks. You can probably do them yourself.
  2. There is a forum here where you can request a pin.
  3. He is looking for the OEM satellite antenna, which he needs to unplug from the OEM Sirius module, which is near the gear shift under the plastic.
  4. Not sure how to get the power to shut off, but the sirius tuners is next to the gear shift under the plastic cover. It's a pain to get to.
  5. Yes you can. Just remove the plastic covers that are on top of the bolts-they just pull off. Then remove the bolts. I think there is 6 or 8. You can tape over the holes and put a carpet over that area or if you like it like that, buy a floor mat made for the Expy with second row captains chairs. Ebay has a bunch of them. I tried it and liked it but needed the seat too many times.

  7. Yeah, you need to crawl under there and find the leak first.
  8. Well you have to find out where it is leaking from first. If its a hose it's not as big of deal. Spray some simple green on the pump and hoses and wash it off. Then drive it for a while and go back and look for the leak. Start with that.
  9. I agree with you 100%. I was being a smart alec about the fact that most of the intakes simply pull air from the engine compartment yet still are called 'cold' air intakes.
  10. There is no such thing that I know of as a real cold air intake. Most are engine compartment ambient temperature intakes.
  11. Just don't over oil the filter and dirt up your MAF sensor.
  12. Well I think they do but not as many as the 07's. I have an 08 and the tranny problem didn't pop up until 20,000 miles. They reflashed the pcm and tcm and it seems to have cured it.
  13. Not sure but they just reflashed my tranny with this and it seems to help. I was getting harsh downshifts and a banging noise at 5moh coming to a stop.
  14. Well if they open it up and it's blown, they have to order a new one, that could take about 5 days, install should be very fast, one day.
  15. That sounds like the tranny blew up. At least they won't say 'can't duplicate'. Keep us posted.
  16. Found this info on another forum. Might be of help. http://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/809545-w...emperature.html The dealer replaced the A/C evaporator coil to fix my complaint about the air ducts making a whistling noise, the fins that the air passes through have a different design on the new evaporator coil, this did stop the air noise. The replacement kit included a new blower housing and a condensate pan with a longer drain, the installer told me it was about a 1/4" longer, I hope this also fixed by A/C condensate leak, I will not know until next summer. The replacement required the dash to be pulled apart, heater core to be removed, and the A/C recharged with refrigerant (big job). There is a TSB 08-9-8 MAY 08 A/C - Whistle Noise When Changing Temperature. Some 2007-2008 Expedition and Navigator vehicles built before 12/4/2007 may exhibit a whistle noise from the heater/air conditioning while changing temperature setting. If you are pre 12-04-07 and still under your 3 year 36k warranty, you might want to look into this..
  17. I doubt it. The radios are pretty cheaply made and I have never heard of a firmware upgrade on these.
  18. Your not limited to the dealer, but you do need someone with expertise in transmisions. Best bet is to find a reputable transmission shop and have them diagnose it. Make sure you trust them.
  19. Hmmm. Strange. Maybe he got lucky and that motor had more balls. In our fleet we had a 98 Ranger with a 3.0 that was crazy fast. All stock. No one that drove it believed it was the small motor. It killed the all the other 3.0 and 4.0 rangers by a long shot. Never could explain it.
  20. I know nothing about trannys-either kind-but from what I have read, it sounds like a problem with the torque converter.
