[Paul Steely has now shut down due to bad business practices and a poor service department. They were there for themselves only. They have given FORD a bad name in my opinion.

I have the same problem: 2008 Ford F-150 lariat, 6.5ft bed, 5.4L and 3.73 gears. Poor MPG's ,about 15 at best, 8,800 miles on a new truck, poor service from any dealership, looking for something else...

Thinking about getting an 08 F-150 or possibly waiting on an 09, and had a few questions. Will the 5.4L engine be a definite option in the early stages of the 09 F-150? I figured that by now most of the bugs had been worked out of the engine. Will the 6 speed transmission be standard in the 09 F-150, and how reliable is it? Will the 09 F-150 crew cab have the rear-hinged, rear doors of the Super Chief or will the doors open as the 08 F-150 crew cab door do?
