  1. I personally like the new design. If I were asked one thing I didn't like, it'd probably be the overly style tailgate. I think they did a tad too much styling. I also am not a big fan of the extra chrome strip on the bottom of the doors just below the groove. I do like the power deployable running boards though.
  2. 4-door for sure and I read somewhere that the 3-door may be there as well.
  3. I agree. The new nav system (w/ an 8" screen) also gets rid of some of the buttons as well. It cleans things up. I haven't seen a "close up" of the nav model though, I'm going based on a 'distance' picture.
  4. That is the Platinum model, btw, so yes it is the nice one, except it doesn't have a nav system. I don't think that's the nice Tundra interior either (not that it makes a difference) The only difference I can think of is the floor shifter.
  5. I was just reminded how much of a joke the new Tundra is inside and out today after the Ram and F-150 debuts. Both Ram and F-150 put Tundra to shame in every which way, shape, and form.
  6. That's what I was about to say.
  7. I didn't know they released that yet. As you said, they couldn't continue w/ those sort of incentives forever.
  8. So this gives customers another possible reason to consider the F-150. I know I love having the A/C option in our Expedition, I use it all the time. I really dont want a vehicle without them now. To me A/C seats make sense in a truck. After a days work you're hot and want to cool down quickly, they'll only help. Granted, people buying decked out Platinum models likely won't be construction WORKERS, more likely construction managers/higher up positions.
  9. I haven't seen any horsepower or torque specs on any press release yet, unfortunately.
  10. I was just referring to the fact that German cars usually have separate stalks for everything, not necessarily that it was a Mercedes stalk/stalk setup.
  11. I agree. I really really like the new truck. Ford did a great job with it, IMO.
  12. You mentioned the top of dash display. While I agree with you about display placement, the idea is that your line of eyesight is closer to the road. To me, with this new system, you now have to look 2 places rather than one, causing even longer time looking away from the road, but I suppose you will 1)get used to it and/or 2)be able to use the steering wheel controls as well (if equipped).
  13. Press releases have said there will be a 1 mpg improvement across the board.
  14. Yes, those are heated and cooled (FINALLY!) 10-way power front seats, along with a power tilt steering column.
  15. On this picture, what is the small cutout/box type thing under the seat by the passenger side rear door? Is it a storage box?
  16. For a Lariat model, I'd imagine you'd just have to picture a King Ranch for the most part, similar to the current difference between the two.
  17. It's been like that for some time now, it seems.
  18. I dont feel like looking for the pictures right now, but yes, it will offer one, with an 8" screen. It integrates very nicely into the center stack and does remove some of the buttons that are present on non-nav models.
  19. It's the German separate-stalk-for-everything influence kicking in there. I like how Ford integrates it into the steering wheel buttons.
