  1. go ito this forum and post your VIN number they may be able to pull it up for you. They give us a copy of our sticker if they are tracking our car/truck through the build process. OOPS! didnt see the `full size' part.....
  2. Another thing to look at to get the true numbers is if you ask they are suposed to show you the full invoice not just the first page but also the secound page... and at the bottom of the secound page you will see a line that says something like a/z or a/z plan then a number that is the a/z plan price then D and that is the d-plan price and then the X or x-plan and a price if your ordering look at a full invoice for a truck close to what your ordering. My dealer freely showed all this to me without asking, but i know i have the oddball dealer, that also just sells at invoice no haggling. also if you ordered out and are doing x-plan all the AXZD plans will print out on the 'order confirmation' (not the DORA) atleast they did on mine.
  3. that inst a DORA that is the sheet you get when the order is placed Goto the Dealer and get a copy of the DORA or atleast get them to look at the printout that they get from ford every week that lists the status of all the veichles on order, My dealer freely lets me see this if i wish. DORA = Dealer Order Receipt Acknolagement and it is a good thing to have to make shure that your order went in correctly.
  4. I'm just wondering if they added a shift or hours to the existing shifts? The reason being is that my truck was scheduled to build the week of 11/26 but was somehow produced on 11/21 :happy feet:
  5. Diesels dont make vaccum so they use hydro-boost breaks and that is powered off the powerstearing pump and is thus hydralicaly boosted. The advantage of them putting vaccum assist brakes on the lighter SD's is that with so many soccer moms and others that arent used to hydro brakes, is that when panic stopping with hydro brakes you cant stear as easily and need to let your foot off the brake a bit to stear. With the vaccum assist brakes it is just like any gas powered car/truck except they have to put in a belt driven vaccum pump in the last available accesory position, I need to put a compressor there so i cant have the vaccum assist ..and anyways i just dont want them ...just another thing to break(the vaccum pump)
  6. Yay, if it holds true... Thnx waloud Do you know the start date for job#3 as of yet? general rumor is january ... early late? im debating holding off to job#3 if my order didn't get locked in yet. though i'll be certifible by then. :P
  7. waloud ! do you know if they are holding off on the vaccume assist brakes till job#3 or are they gonna start that on the last of the job#2 SWR trucks? i'm cant find an ansawer anywhere.. So might i assume that the 3.55 ratio axel will also be added for job#3? it was listed late availability job#2 like the vaccume assist was. EDIT: whoops just saw your ansawer to that Q in the thread that i started,
  8. Has anyone at KTP seen the start of installing the vaccum assist breaks(instead of the hydro-boost) on the SRW PSD's as of yet? this was listed to be standard with late avaliability for job#2. I'm asking since the dealer still cant tell if this has started or not and as of the last time i talked to him he hasnt seen the option to force it to be hydroboost in the ordering system. I need to have the hydroboost as i need the open accesory position on the engine for something else.
  9. Are they only running F450's for job#3 or are they also doing the F250's and 350's being that i heard from my dealers factory rep that production will finaly get back to normal in january. I expected a job#3 considering job#1 was 6 months early, but didnt know if there would be enough demand to have one.
  10. This isnt good for us vaiting for our PSD's LINK Though now i have hear that the PSD is also built at a non union plant in Huntsville
  11. As long as the order hasn't reached the 'locked in ' status you can modify the order. So i'd get to the dealer and change it up and ask for a copy of the DORA just to confirm that the truck order has been submitted correctly. and if it has gotten to locked in status you could always cancel the order and start over... also dont let them tell they cant look up the order ...thats just being lazy.
  12. Well i geuss 'The New Direction tavern ' could be called to see if there gonna get any lunch buisness today? saw it in a news article its down the road from the plant.
  13. ummm... just wondering if The Kentucky Truck Plant went back into production today? If it did start production again im also wondering how fast or rather if they are building all shifts... im just getting itchy to get my truck that was ordered 5+ weeks ago and still hasnt been given a VIN .. and after seeing THIS i may not see it till after the snow flies
  14. It is in there and all you'll have to get from the dealer is the power cord. it is on the passenger side just above the starter.
