I would not want to put my house on the marklet now. The employees do not have any where close to move to. Should all these employees just file bankruptcy now to start the process, so that when a second offer comes up, they will already be ready. Are you prepared right now to move 1000 miles from where you may have lived your entire life, and be ready to do this in 60 days?

Obviously there must not be many employees attending the Unit meeting, because this is something that would have been brought up there. If you really want to stir the pot, call the International and have them look into it before you cantact your local committee. This should really make them very happy.

Has anyone heard how the votes turned out at the glass plants? Were the contracts ratified? Will also be curious to see how the vote goes at the Monroe plant. Quite a few Ford employees are saying that they will work for the new company, but not many have signed up yet.
