Tom Kanitz was voted OUT of office last time, because the membership was tired of his helping only certain people. If you want to be Chairman, you have to fight just as hard for nobody, the same way you fight for your buddies. When he was in office, I tried a little experement. I went to the union office, and just stood at the counter. I stood there for 20 minutes to see if Tom would ask if he could help me. Nothing! In that 20 minutes, different buds of Tom came in and he would say hi Joe, Bob, or Jerry how you doing, come on back, how's it going. Then I just turned and left. Tom never knew Iwas there. It is a safety issue, but not enforced enough. Now your not going to believe this, but a woman driver at Saline was TEXTING on her phone while driving and T-BONED another driver!!! All she got was a slap on the wrist , and she was back driving in a short time. I could't believe it.

According to union Rep, anyone who runs 4 office is going 2 be asked 2 put in 100 bucks 4 food and drinks at the local on election day. The election was moved to the local instead of the plant 2 save money:15,000 bucks, good idea, times are tough.
