1994 Mustang V6 - 202,000 miles, on it's second engine, original engine block cracked after the head gaskets went. Trans, rear, and all other major components are original. 2004 Ford Freestar - 72,000 miles. Nothing much to say about it. Haven't had any problems (knock on wood).

The Mustang didn't get them until 2005!

It's good to read this. I'm very happy with the quality of my new Focus. Ford really needs to focus on this improvement in their advertising. Most people think Fords have horrible quality, so if Ford can pound into peoples head the opposite, it would be great for sales.

I ordered mine February 16th and it came in on March 21st. I was happy with the delivery time. I did order mine X-plan, but I doubt that makes a difference in delivery time.

When I scroll through the message center it does not offer the option. As I said above, I tried the door lock method in the owners manual and it did not work.

I've tried this method and it doesn't work. It's as if the car does not have the feature at all.

I just picked up my new 08 Focus SES (ordered in February) today. It's Vista Blue, black leather, and a 5 speed. My wife has a 08 Focus SES automatic, so I knew it would be a great car. I do have a question though. My wife's has the autolock/unlock feature, but my car does not. I wasn't sure if it is because of the difference in transmission, or if it was left off as an oversight from the factory. Thanks!

All the mainstream car magazines have an import car bias. I'm never surprised by their choices.

The wife and I love our new Focus. So much in fact that we went and ordered another for me to have as a daily driver. The gas mileage is so much better than my Mustang!
