Canada is so expensive on mfg. labour -- I guess we must be cheap retail workers, 'cause big box is flooding in. It is disgusting what big auto is doing to new hires, I hope they can forgive when they vote on a 60% pension, (100% after ten years). This is more than economic, they are trying to turn brothers against sisters, plant vs. plant. We can't control who runs the companies, but we can decide who runs OUR COUNTRIES!

these people that bitch about your wages couldn't handle a day on the line. they don't remember/understand what losing plants does to communities. 'lets not give big 3 hand outs the ceos make too much' - you are not saving a ceo, their families are set for generations. what you're saving is people in plants, their 7 direct supplier jobs (which pay progressively worse, down to minimum wage:'go visit a temp agency and ask to work at a parts dipping plant'), all the service jobs that these workers use. that guy flipping burgers won't do that anymore when people breed bunnies to eat. See ya later high paying dentist and chiropractor job.
