The dealer definitely didn't put them on because they had no idea what I was talking about. They looked at one on the lot and didn't see them on it. I tripple checked the paperwork and there were no strange charges.

We've had an Escape Hybrid for a few months now and I noticed something strange when washing it the other day. In front of the rear wheel wells (forward facing edge) on both sides there is a small (roughly 3 inch x 6 inch) clear plastic sticker-like thing on the body. Are these supposed to be there or were they shipping materials that were supposed to be removed by the dealer? If they were supposed to be removed, how should I go about safely removing them without damaging the body? Thanks!

I need to install an aftermarket rear window defroster. It has it's own 15 amp fuse. I am looking for a point (preferably under the dash) where I can connect to 12V that is unfused since if I connect it to a fused point the draw combined with whatever is already in the circuit will blow the fuse. If there is an option it would be great if the point was switched off when the ignition is off to prevent an accidental battery drain. Thanks for your help.

This might be a stupid question (3 acutally) but where do you get the mapping DVD with the map data for the system? Is there a charge for the map data/updates? Finally, are there any recurring charges related to it (I assume that the Sirius real time stuff is an additional charge)?

I have a couple of quick questions to make sure I'm understanding the order guide correctly: 1) Am I understanding correctly that the Hybrid Limited includes all possible options on the Escape Hybrid as standard with the exception of the Navigation System and Side Step Bars? Basically, if I just ordered the base Escape Hybrid Limited I would get all the options possible to get on the Escape Hybrid except those two items. 2) Does the AM/FM Radio with 6-Disc in dash CD player have an audio input jack for an iPod or other portable MP3 player and does it support MP3 files on disc? I can't find any reference to these in the order guide. 3) Does the radio that comes with the Navigation package upgrade have an audio input jack for iPod or other portable MP3 player? 4) Is the MSRP of the Hybrid Limited $30,635 as quoted in an earlier post?
