  1. This is my first post here and hopefully I'm not on the wrong forum for this question. I have inherited a 2002 Linclon LS V8 w/ Sport Package. It has 24K on it at the moment and has been dealer serviced. Is there anything inherent to that model year that has an early failure rate. I saw something about the HVAC controls but that was about it. The car is in Florida and I'm in Nor Cal. I've driven the car, it's spotless, garage kept, and will be a nice replacement for my tiring 91 Q45. I know my Dad special ordered it new to get the engine and Sport Package but I'm in the dark from there on out. I plan to ship it by rail from Ft. Lauderdale. Any input would be greatly appreciated concerning reliability and items to keep an eye on. BTW I'm more familiar with German cars, I do have Ranger though, and do all my own work. Thanks, Steve
