Mass lay off where, Saline? If they do have a lay off in Saline would the temp Ford people go first or will it go by Ford senoirty? Since the people transferring will have to start their senoirty at day one. Just wondering how that would work.

F-150 door line is the only line working ot. I was scheduled to work this weekend and was told last night that all the weekend ot was going to be cancelled! Don't count on too much ot here!

Thats great that someone heard the foreman at Saline are real hard asses!!! If you are sitting at home and not working and they do not get enough volunteers to come to Saline they will force you to come (if there are no other openings at a Ford facility). That is what was posted on the wall when I walked out last night. The jobs are pretty good in the plant and considering alot of the temps have good bid jobs, there will be alot of bid jobs going up (hi-lo, stock follow up, set up etc.) Welcome to those that decide to come! :happy feet: :happy feet: :happy feet:

They are going to survey people working in Ford plants to see if anyone wants to come and work in Saline on a temporary basis. If you decide to, you will have to start your plant senoirity over. If they don't get enough volunteers they will force the people in jsp to come to Saline. That is how I understood it please correct me if I am wrong. They also said one of the assembly plants is adding a shift but they would not tell us which one because they have not told the people that work there yet. So all they did was piss the orange employees off and now most of them are screwing off because they figure they are going to lose their job anyway. It really sucks in there right now!

From what I am hearing in the plant, just rumors, is that Saline is going to be the plant for people that are in JPS. If you signed up for flowback and are currently working I don't think you will be able to come back. For the people who went to DTP and are ILO you might be able to come back to Saline.

What you think they are holding the position you had when you left Saline? You will be the one punching screws! Have a nice day! That is if they let you come back!

I just signed up to transfer to Lima last week, there was only 17 openings left though. How is the area down there? When are they starting up the 3rd shift? Any information would be helpful. I hope I have the senority to go! Thanks

Does anyone know how many prod. openings are available in Lima?

I was told today that everyone at dtp was able to bid on the jobs at wayne, aai, etc., any truth to that? I thought those jobs were for the people at dtp on ilo not people who are still working there. Could someone from dtp please clear this up for me? Thanks

I too tried twice to leave my plant and was not picked. We had plenty of other options other than dtp. Now I am still working in Saline while some of my other union brothers and sisters that transfered to dtp for job security are on ilo. Never thought that woud happen.
