Whilst I appreciate that you're not completely happy with your car as someone else has already stated - that's why vehicles come with warranties, not guarantees. As has also been said a new component on a brand new car is more likely to fail than one that's been working happily for several years. I've been in the motor trade for nearly 20 years and have seen MUCH worse than you've experienced. To give you an idea look up reliability issues for TVR. I ran a dealship for these for six years.

I've just had an email to say the car has arrived at the dealers and he's going to ship the badges with it. I'll decide once it's here what I'm going to do. My only concern is that the space on the front wings below the GT/CS stripe won't be big enough for the badge to fit. If this is the case I might do what Fang suggested and just look at putting one on the back.

The new Sebring comes with either a retractable mtetal or folding cloth roof. So it operates the same for both roof types, which takes up all luggage space even with the soft roof. In the boot (trunk) there is a retractable panel which has to be in place for the roof system to work. This panel, basically, cuts the boot space in half height wise. The best way to use it is put the luggage in the boot, put the panel in place then put the roof down. You obviously don't gain any more luggage space but it's easier this way than puttting the luggage in afterwards and having to try and get it through the opening and under the retractable panel.

Hey Giddy up, Tell me about Friday cars, I've been in the motor trade for nearly 20 years and have seen plenty of them. According to the dealer in Florida who is supplying my car, no the GT/CS doesn't come with 45th badges but he has ordered me a couple which he will put in the car prior to shipping. Hopefully I'll get my car over here and ready to use by the end of September/beginning of October. Enjoy your car when you get it and think of me waiting for mine.

That's a very similar spec to mine. I went for the black stripe for exactly the same reason. ETA: Just noticed yours is due to be built today. So is mine.

I agree with you for not wanting them on the Bullitt (nice choice of car by the way) but I don't think it's so much of a problem to have them on the GT/CS. And as there won't be many over here I think it would be nice to mark the anniversary.

Hi all, I'm new to these forums but have been a Mustang owner for the last three years. I currently own a Zinc yellow 2003 GT Coupe but I've just ordered a new '09 GT/CS but have a question. All the pictures I've seen of the '09 CS don't have anniversary badges on the front fenders and I was wondering if someone can confirm for me that the car doesn't come with them, even though the model guide says ALL '09 will have them. If this is the case does anyone have a part number for the badges so that I can get some ordered. I would, of course, just pop down to my local dealer and have a look. Unfortunately I live in England so the nearest one is about 5,000 miles away. :D Thanks in advance.

Hi all, I'm new here but have been a member of the MOCGB for a few years as I currently own a 2003 GT Coupe. Anyway, I've ordered a new car and would be very interested to know it's status as it goes along. The VIN is: 1ZVHT85HX95125740 I also have a quick question if possible. The 2009 order guide says that all 09MY cars come with 45th Anniversary badging, but the only photo's I've seen (including on the Ford website) the GT/CS doesn't appear to have them. Do they not come on the GT/CS due to the tape stripe? If not are they orderable so that I can get them fitted when the car arrives in England? Many thanks in advance for your help.
