Is your team leader worth a 1.50 raise?

Umm......what exactly would the team leader be doing then? Other than a little paperwork you just covered all their duties. So they are getting a raise for what? -

Do you work for Ford? We gave up overtime after 8 hours in the last round of contract re-opening. Nothing is time & a half unless its over 40. If you worked 3 -12 hour days it would all be straight time until you hit 40.

No we see no cola, no raises since 2004, lost overtime after 8 hours, lost break time, lost holidays, higher co-pays, deductables, retiree health insurance that has gotten worse since VEBA, GEN pool, cap on subpay. Do I need to go on?

I agree that whoever put this out there is stirring things up, but I certainly would not catagorize those numbers as generating high hopes, if no cola or raise then those are very low numbers. Way too low for a yes vote.

70K a year?? Where do you work? I have seen anything close to that since the 90's when we worked overtime & 6 days a week.

As far as I know everyone that was laid off got unemployment, I am still drawing myself. But hose that were on ILO eventually ran out of benefits, its been at least 2 years.

The second shift was layed off over 2 years ago, they are on ILO and used up all sub pay, some if not all lost their health care. The remaining shift was laid off last December & is on TLO, you do not use up your credits while on TLO only on ILO. TLO is temporary layoff ILO is Indefinate lay off. Hope this helps.

I used to feel that way about profit sharing too, but now that it is taking the place of a raise &/or cola it is a big deal.

I am shocked beyond belief that anyone that actually works for Ford after all we have given up would think this is a good contract. We get exactly 0 back that we have given up. Unbelievable! This will ensure 12 years without a raise.

a home run??? Are you out of your mind? No raise, no cola, no Christmas bonus, no overtime after 8 hours, no break time returned on & on & on. What exactly did they get back? The promise of product at one plant? Please.

We just rented one a couple of weeks ago for vacation, they are awesome.

Don't really think you'll have to worry about it, if they bring us the crap we've been hearing about it will be a while after Sept 15th before anything passes.

Join the crowd, they wont tell us anything either. Sometime between Sept. & Dec. is the rumor, nothing official.

I work @ LAP also & have heard nothing about this either, they are already re- doing the mod center, & tearing out some old offices. Bids for the jobs will start next week. Why is KTP handing info that was supposed to be said by LAP's building chairman, & LAP knows nothing about it? At this point we all know they will try something, but with things already in the works I don't see where they have the leverage.

As has been stated many times already, LAP is getting the Escape, We are hearing rumors of a Lincoln version as well as focus overflow. Kuga was only to be exports anyway. Official announcement is supposed to be Sept. 13th
