The switch to ilo makes some sense.put us out on ilo to burn up our benefits then staff MAP with as many second tier as they can.Good thing my lease is almost up thats $300 a month i wont have to spend.

Arent they combining the two unions now?I had heard something to that effect.That is something that should have been done once all foci prod. was moved to WAP.Open it up to seniority placement.Then they can do their seniority layoffs a little more fairly.Though with my seniority i would just stay where im at now TLO!!

Not even a week ago Mullally was in an interview with Murray Feldman from FOX2 i believe and he said they were laser focused on the ford product line up,and that NO more ford employees would be losing their jobs.Which i sort of took as that would mean no layoffs other than down weeks on a plant basis.Well guess ill go continue to be laid off now see ya!

I may be mistaken,but the judge cannot just decide on a wage pulled from thin air.The worst he can do is take the average of UAW and the transplants so maybe 25 an hour.That is about what happened with delphi they were cut down to what other suppliers are paid for hourly wages.Are there any second tier employees at any of the Big 3 as of yet?If were an expert on the issue i wouldnt be on the line,but, again i believe that is kind of the blueprint they will follow.

I am right there with you.Not just the union but the company as well.They act as though its a surprise that layoffs will be needed,come the f% on!We are all adults,yes i have a family to support and i rely on my job but not keeping employees in the loop about jobs is immature and ungoddamnacceptable!!Stop with the lies and the sugar coating!

ISA and WAP unions should be combined.Should of been combined the second that all focus production was moved there.Open it all up to seniority bump as well.9hrs? Heard some people got a layoff call friday the 17th? Or is this just a distorted rumor based on people returning from woodhaven and DTEP?I know im really close to the bottom of the food chain at WAP but did not get a call?

Outf-ingstanding just what all the low seniority people were told wasnt going to happen is now becoming reality.Ford will be nice enough to provide the vaseline,but, due to recent cutbacks you will be required to bring your own metal shavings and/or sand!

I believe it will go back to about mid 99 but have heard back to the start of 99 so who knows on that.Also the two people i know who are off were told that they are on TLO not on ILO so the time doesnt count towards the sub cap but......

Union told me to expect a call while we were off.Still was not definite on it but did not want people to be surprised since he had heard that more layoffs were fothcoming.Soo yea im expecting to be called.

Kind of funny that there is still not a definite word from those in power about a layoff,but last night a good portion of low seniority had people training on their jobs.Guess the final word will come around midnight on the friday before we come back from layoff.

Well,didnt recieve a layoff but was told by union to be prepared if it wasnt next thursday then to expect a phone call while on down weeks.Also the layoffs are a TLO not an ILO so they dont count towards the whole subpay reduction concession debacle from what i understand,however heard possible 4 10s which is an alt work schedule i believe so they would start to count then i suppose.I gave em my no vote not sure what else i can do.

No dates.This was thru a friend who is at saline who's "source" is at hdqtrs and has been spot on with info as far as down weeks and the such.So with that said my post was speculative at best. However it would not surprise me to see them coming around 5 minutes before the end of the shift to tell people "congratulations, you have been selected for a seniority based layoff, and have a nice night".

Actually there are at least 35 to 40 people with 2000 seniority at WAP and about 10 with 2001.That is until tonight when they tell us we have been selected to go on ILO.

Did not hear that one.Was told that if enough people do not take a buyout that a big layoff was coming.But have yet to hear a number that ford wants gone.Layoffs with a possibility for call back but not until they open new plant.Hmm maybe ill go buy that new F150 and let fomoco pay for it for the year....Or not!!
